2 of 27 Preface We are the industry s one-stop manufacturer for cutting tools. Offering a comprehensive product offer and support, we are committed to helping our customers carry out their machining processes efficiently with productivity as our goal. In our efforts to assist you electronically, we have developed a robust online tool to support your sales and cutting tool selection process. The intent of this User Manual is to guide you through commonly used functionality on our website and eshop. We passionately believe in building long-term partnerships, sharing our expertise and being honest and open at all times. As we continue to evolve with the market needs, please provide your feedback on our tools to sales@dormerpramet.com and we look forward to our collaboration. When using our website, please make sure you have correctly selected the country and language. We have assisted you by allowing Mexico to default to Spanish language, Canada to English (US) and United States to English (US). Once you select your country and language, we use a cookie to remember you for future visits so that you do not have to select this option again. Having the appropriate country and language selected will allow for you to view the correct downloads for the relevant country and language.
3 of 27 Literature We want to ensure you have the documents you require to have a full understanding of our company and product portfolio. Download Section This section of our website can be found here: /en-us/downloads The literature in this section will automatically default to the language you have selected in the dropdown country/language section of the website. For example, if you have selected your language as English(US), you will automatically view only the literature for that selection. If you have selected Spanish, you will view only the literature in the Spanish language. You can sort the literature by brand, type and application area. The most popular are the brand and type selections. Certifications and Safety Data Sheets are available for viewing and download in this section of the website.
4 of 27 Technical Page There may be additional technical documentation that is not on the downloads that would assist your product referencing. This includes material/iso reference guides, drills feed charts and decimal equivalent charts. If there is other information you cannot find but would like us to share with you, please email us at sales@dormerpramet.com.
5 of 27 eshop Our eshop is your fully integrated resource planning tool for online shopping and source for all current stock, pricing and documentation. Your Distributor Support tab will appear in the website ribbon once you log-in and through this page you can download stock files, pricing files, logos, policies, certifications and safety information sheets. We are always striving to improve and want to ensure your needs are being met. If you have any questions on this site, its usage or have suggestions for improvement, please reply and myself and my colleagues are happy to support. Logging In Once you have a user name and password (if you need one, please email sales@dormerpramet.com and we will give you access), you can log in through either the Services=>eShop page or by clicking the Login button on the upper right side of our website. Your user name is your email address.
6 of 27 Forgot Your Password? Passwords are easy to forget. If you forget your password, simply click the forgot your password link on the log in screen (seen on the previous page). Fill in your email address and provide the basic calculation. We want to protect our users and ourselves from spam and use a simple calculation to ensure that you are not a robot. Click the Next button and you will see this confirmation screen. In a few seconds, you will receive an email from noreply@sandvik.com. If you do not receive an email, please check your junk mailbox or clutter mailbox. See below screenshot of the email you will receive.
7 of 27 Click the link in the above email to reset your password. When you click on the link, you will see a screen which will show you your new password. Copy (Ctrl+C) this password. Click the Login button at the upper right of the screen to return to the login screen. Input your user name (email address) and paste (Ctrl+V) your password. Hit the Login button. You should be in! Changing Password You can easily change your password in the My settings area of your account. Click the down arrow by your account number in the upper right section of the website. Click the My settings link in the drop down. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Change password link. Fields will open up for you to input your new password. Repeat this new password in the second field. Click the Change Password button. You will receive a visual confirmation (see above) that your password has been changed.
8 of 27 Account Button Functionalities All functionalities of your account can either be reach from the horizontal ribbon or the vertical drop down under your account. For purposes of this user guide, we will reference the vertical drop down links. Home The Home link will send you to the My Shopping Cart page. We will go over this page later in the training. The Ordering on the vertical drop down menu also links to this page.
9 of 27 Local Address Book The local address book page will allow you to view all of your stored addresses. Addresses used previously prior to your eshop will automatically be imported. If you would like to add new address, you can fill out the fields and click the Save address button at the bottom. You can also use these fields to search through your address book. These addresses are local to your eshop and will be stored here for your use.
10 of 27 Order History One of the major benefits of using eshop is to view and track your order history. To do this, visit the Order History link in your account menu. You can search all previous orders or you can select date or number ranges.
11 of 27 Ordering/My Shopping Cart This section of your website can also be found by clicking the Home link. From here you control items which have been placed in the shopping cart, placing new items in the shopping cart, searching for products to place in the shopping cart, uploading files and creating templates.
12 of 27 You can find and place products by wildcard searching the ecode of the product. If you do not know the ecode of the product, there are many other ways to search and place products in your cart. The easiest search functionality is the General Search on the upper right part of our website. That will be discussed toward the end of this training.
13 of 27 You can also click the Expand/Collapse fields link in My Shopping Cart to see more fields. You can use these fields for contract pricing, internal part numbers and to fill in for reference on your order when placed and received. Definitions to Field Headings Ordering Code: Ordering Code refers to the product you wish to order. You may be selected via Product Search or you may choose to type the ordering code here. Qty: This is the order quantity. Please remember that the minimum order quantity must equal the pack quantity. It must be multiples of package size (i.e. Enter 12 for one package of drills or 24 for 2 packages of drills. Enter 10 for 1 package of inserts or 20 for 2 packages of inserts). Contract Code: If there are any special pricing contracts which need to be calculated, insert the contract code into this field. Quote No: This is for your reference only. If you would like to reference a quote number, please insert it. Requested Ship Date: Requested ship date is the day you wish your product to be shipped. The format is yyyy-mm-dd. Please take shipping time into consideration for actual delivery date. Denomination: Denomination is your reference for the product being purchased. This information will appear on product packaging and the Packing Note. Comment: Comment on any or all order lines. The comment will appear on all printed documents. Connect Code: Connect Code will allow you to link order lines for shipping purposes. We will not ship any connected lines until stock is available for all "connected" lines. Use one or many connect codes, but remember, we will ship together those containing the same connect code. Ship Complete checkbox: If all order lines are to ship together, check this box which is located at the top of the shopping cart.
14 of 27 Once you have filled in all fields, click the Add to cart button under the ordering lines. The products selected and any contracts or comments will populate in the bottom shopping cart.
15 of 27 From here, you can edit quantities, delete items or view product stocking by clicking on the product hyperlink. You can also save these products as a template for fast and easy ordering in the future. Simply enter a name for the template, click Save as template and a template will be created. When you are ready to place the order, click Checkout.
16 of 27 Order Checkout The Order Checkout screen shows your default delivery address. If you would like to select a different address, click Change address. If you would like to create and save a new address, fill in the address details on the left side of the page and click the Save address button. Fill in the Order references details such as your purchase order or additional comments. Select your shipping method and shipping account. Also include contact name and phone in case there are any shipping or delivery issues. Payment information will be selected by default as per your account in our ERP system. At the bottom of the page, you will once again be able to review your order prior to sending. Once you send, you will see a confirmation screen.
17 of 27 Stock and price / Price finder The stock and price finder functionality only searches through select product fields within our product database. This functionality is only basic and the General Search on the upper right side of our website is more robust, search more fields. To search, please select the appropriate dropdown in the last field: ISO = E-code (the style and size of the part) or the Pramet ordering code (ISO) ANSI = EDP Number (number-only code) which is the Alternative code ANS2 = Pramet ANSI code which is located in the Description column For better search results, only input the first four letters or digits of the part. When searching for Pramet, reference the description column for the ANSI nomenclature.
18 of 27 Template administration Templates are lists of products and are intended to be used to make reordering and pricing easier. To rename a template, type the new name in the field below the template name and click Rename. To delete a template, click the Delete template button to the right of the template name.
19 of 27 Search Functionality The general search functionality of our website will search through our entire product database. Through this functionality, you can view product options, stock availability and pricing. The search functionality is located in the upper right side of our website. You can search for: General Application (drill, tap, milling cutter, etc.) Product Series (ADX, MPX, HX, CNMG, etc.) Size (1/4, ½, etc.) EDP Number (ordering number) ecode (ordering code) Material ID (alternative ordering code) Search results will appear with an additional Advanced Search functionality in case too many results are delivered.
20 of 27 Search results are organized according to Product Family Series with visual guides and further descriptions of the product. You can narrow down results by click once on the product code to reveal the specific prodcuts of that family.

23 of 27 By clicking on the information circle to the far right of the code, details will appear below. Details include full ordering information (including all additional part codes and pricing) and product availability at all DC locations.

25 of 27 From this search functionality, you can add items to your Shopping Cart, as well. Simply click the Shopping Cart icon and the below pop-up will appear. Input the correct quantity and the item will be added. Items must be ordered in package quantity increments. If you do not know the package quantity, an error will appear that will instruct you of this.
26 of 27 Distributor Support Page Any additional support that we can offer electronically, we have put on your Distributor Support page. This page contains downloads of pricing lists, stock files, logos, reconditioning order forms and other general documentation.
