Initial Set-Up When you are initially set up with access to your client portal, you will receive an email letting you know that a folder has been shared with you. This is your client folder. Only you and Roesner Tax & Accounting, LLC have access to it. 1. Click on the link to activate your account and view the folder 2. Enter a password (twice) Password must have at least 8 characters Password must contain both upper and lower case letters. Password must contain at least 1 numbers 3. Confirm that your first name, last name and company name (if applicable) is correct. 3 P a g e
4. Click Save 5. Your portal page will now open 4 P a g e
6. Click on My Settings from the menu bar 7. Change the email notification setting to In Real Time (click the drop down arrow and select it) 8. Click Save 9. If there are any files/documents available to you they will appear here 5 P a g e
Downloading Documents You will have access to download documents that Roesner Tax & Accounting, LLC has placed in your folder, in the client portal. Email Notification Received Document has been uploaded 1. When a file/document is uploaded to your folder, you will receive an email notification 2. Click on the arrow next to download these items 3. A window to login to your portal will open up 6 P a g e
4. Enter your username (email address) and password 5. Click Log In 6. This will take you to an area where you can download the document 7. Click Download 7 P a g e
8. A message will appear at the bottom of the screen a. Click Open if you want to view the document now b. Click the arrow next to save and select Save as if you want to save and then open the document c. Click Cancel if you do not want to view or save the document Login to Portal from www.roesnertax.com Check for documents/files or re-download You can login to your client portal to check for files/documents or to re-download them. Please note that documents/files are only kept in your portal file for 30 days. 1. Open your internet browser (internet explorer, google chrome, firefox, ext) and go to www.roesnertax.com 2. Uploading Files/Documents You have access to upload files/documents to Roesner Tax & Accounting, LLC through your folder in the client portal. 1. Open your internet browser (internet explorer, google chrome, firefox, ext) and go to www.roesnertax.com 2. Click the Client Portal from the menu bar 3. Enter your username and password 4. Click Login 5. This will bring you to your home screen where you can Upload your documents/files to Roesner Tax & Accounting, LLC 10 P a g e
6. Click on Upload Files 7. Click on Choose Files 11 P a g e
8. A window will popup allowing you to select your file/document 9. Click the arrow next to the Look in: box to navigate to a different location on your PC so you can select the file/document you want to upload a. We recommend saving files to your desktop so you can access them easily when uploading them b. If you saved your file to your desktop select the desktop icon on the left menu, locate your file and select it 10. Once you have located and selected your file, click Open 12 P a g e
11. This will add the file to the list to be uploaded. a. If you need to add additional files, click on choose files again and follow steps 8-10 12. Once you have selected all of the files that you want to upload a. You can enter any details/notes that you wish in the box next to details b. Click Upload files 13 P a g e

Forgotten Password You can reset your password by clicking on the Forgotten Password link at the client portal login screen. 1. Open your internet browser (internet explorer, google chrome, firefox, ext) and go to www.roesnertax.com 2. Click the Client Portal from the menu bar 3. When the client login screen appears, click on the Forgotten Password link in the lower right corner under the login button 16 P a g e
