Overview Message Networking R6.3.0 Service Pack1 Patch1 (SP1 Patch1) contains several important fixes listed later in these release notes. General comments: Message Networking 6.3 Service Pack1 must be installed prior to applying this patch. Installing this service patch as outlined in this document will be service affecting. For software security consideration, Avaya recommends changing Message Networking account passwords at regular intervals, staying current on the latest available Service Packs and patches, and updating periodically to change the local craft password. Avaya has deprecated support for the analog and TDM networking protocols for Message Networking, and is moving to remove the Dialogic port cards from the hardware configuration in the next release. Customers will need to consider updating the Message Networking application to the supported IP networking protocols. Sep20, 2018 Page 4
