Logging in to grantsera Most faculty and staff are already registered in the grantsera system. To log in: Enter YOUR Email address Enter password. (First time users use: abc) Click Login
Registering for grantsera If you are unable to log in, you must Register to be a grantsera user. Click Register here You do NOT need to register if you can log in with your email address and the password: abc
Registration Form Skip this slide if you could log in with your email and the password: abc To register, fill in the appropriate boxes. Click the Register button at the bottom. Your Purpose could be to submit, review, or approve proposals

Authorizing Officials should complete the tutorial Routing & Approval (for the Authorizing Official) located on www.coastal.edu/grants after completing this Logging in to grantsera tutorial.
Profile Management Click on Profile Management>Edit Profile to begin editing your profile.
Click the categories listed on the menu bar to update your personal information. This allows you to store all the pertinent information you might need when you submit a grant, all in one place. Profile Management - Edit Profile
Change Password or Account Info Use this link to change your password or to choose a new Challenge Question. Remember to Save. The button will always be located in the upper-right hand corner of your screen. Click Save
Institution & Contact Info Your basic contact information has already been uploaded. Check fields and update your profile with the correct Title, College, Address, Phone number, etc.
Institution & Contact Info Continued Do NOT un-check the Email Active Box. This must be active for the system to operate. You will receive emails notifying you about the status of your proposals. Keep this box checked and active
Research Interests Use this link to add Research Interests and Key Words for Grant Searches. Remember to Click Save. Describe major research interests and expertise Select Keywords
Research Interests Continued PLEASE NOTE: Use the Research Interests link to describe any interests or key words that would apply to your field of interest, and update this page as often as you would like. This will allow you to receive more targeted emails about research opportunities in the future. It also replaces any paper surveys about your research interests previously used by the Office of Grants & Sponsored Research. Describe major research interests and expertise Use these buttons to move selected keywords to your keywords box

Honors Received (Optional) Use this link to Enter Honors Received and the date you received them. Upload attachments as needed. Remember to Click Save.
Papers Presented (Optional) Use this link to enter Title, Place/Location, and Date of Papers presented. Upload attachments as needed. Remember to Click Save.
Patents/Copyrights/Licenses (Optional) Use this link to enter Patent/Copyright/License information. Upload attachments as needed. Remember to Click Save.
Previous Employment (Optional) Use this link to enter Employment information. Upload attachments as needed. Remember to Click Save.
Professional Association (Optional) Use this link to enter Names of Associations you belong to. Upload certificates or attachments as needed. Remember to Click Save.
Publications (Optional) Use this link to enter Title, Publisher, and date of any Publications. Attach Publications. Remember to Click Save.
Bio-Sketch (Optional) Use this link to upload CV or other Bio-Sketch information. Attach files as needed. Remember to Click Save.
Assign Assistants (Optional) Use this link to Assign Assistants by using the drop-down menu. Click Save. By assigning assistants, you give that individual access to your proposals. This would be helpful if you wanted them to upload information to your proposal(s) and/or receive notifications on your proposal status.
Log off To log off, click the Log Off button located in the upper right hand corner of the page
