DOWNLOADER OPTIONS Introduction OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (DOWNLOADER OPTIONS) During the downloading process there are download options that you must choose to opt in or out of to continue the download process. These options do not affect the power programs. They are simply there for you convenience. Power Pup Operation Bill of Materials SPEED LIMITER ( 02-07 LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM) This allows the vehicle to reach speeds in excess of where the OEM speed limiter was set, usually at 98 mph. By selecting yes to increase the speed limiter you agree that your vehicle has tires rated for speeds in excess of 140 mph. Use the up and down arrows to set the speed limiters to the desired mph in 5 mph increments from 50 mph to 135 mph. On LMM model engines, adjusting the speed limiter above 95 mph will completely disable the speed limiter removing it all together. CALIBRATE SPEEDOMETER ( 02-07 LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM) Program in the vehicle s exact tire size to adjust the OEM speedometer so that it will correctly display vehicle speeds. The downloader can adjust for tires ranging from 25 to 45. Calibrating for any tire size over 35 may cause the on dash ABS light to turn on. Downloader Options Warranty & Disclaimer RETURNING TO STOCK: Plug in the downloader and select the download option from the main menu. Once in the power level selection menu, highlight stock and press Y. Then follow the instructions set out on the downloader. When finished, the downloader will have returned the vehicle to stock power level with the speed limiter intact and the speedometer calibrated back to stock. 5
