Important key information: There are six Programmable Line/Feature Keys with two features or lines configured on each key. The green key is your personal extension or Line (DN). The Shift key allows you to access the second layer of the Programmable Line/Feature Keys. There are four Context-Sensitive Soft Keys with telephone features on each key. The keys are located below the display. Press the More key to access additional features. Voice Mail Message commands become available after pressing the Message key. The Volume Control Bar adjusts the ringing and handset volume by pressing the bar to the right to increase the volume and to the left to decrease the volume. To adjust the ringing volume, press the Volume Control Bar while the telephone is actually ringing. The Fixed Feature keys are at the bottom. They are as follows: Headset, Options, Message, Directory/Log, Applications and Shift.

Headset: Press the Headset key to answer a call while on the headset or to switch a call from handset or handsfree to headset. The Options: Allows you to access and modify telephone options. The following features may be available only if turned on by your administrator. Use the Navigation Key to scroll through the available options. Press the Select key. Press the Done key to save changes or press the Quit key to exit. Message: Press the Message key to dial the voice mail access number. Directory/Log: Press the Directory/Log key to access the directory menu. The menu includes the Call log, Redial List, Personal Directory, and Password. Use the down Navigation key to view the selections. Press the Select key for the directory you want. The Call Log records the last 100 incoming calls. The Redial List records the last 10 outgoing calls. The Personal Directory holds 100 entries of names and numbers. It allows you to add, delete, search and change an entry. The Copy key can be used to copy and save an incoming call, one from the Call Log, or one from the Redial List to the Personal Directory. Outgoing calls can be copied also. The Edit key can be used to modify the name and number. Press Dial to call the number from the Directory, Call Log, or Redial list. The Password key allows you to set a password to protect your Call Log, Redial List, and Personal Directory. You must enter a password each time you press the Directory/Log key.

PHONE FEATURES The following features will appear and be accessible depending on the function you want to perform. Answering calls to answer Lift handset, or press blinking Line (DN). Making calls to call Lift handset, or press Line (DN), or press your Handsfree key. System Calls, dial 4-digits On Campus, dial 9 + 5-digits. Off Campus, dial 9 + 8 and the number. Emergency Calls to call You must dial 9 then 911. Releasing calls to hang-up Press Goodbye or place handset in cradle. Hold to activate/ Press Hold button. to return Press flashing Line key to take call off hold. Transfer to activate Press CentrexSHF. Dial the campus (Campus) number. When you hear ringing or a person answers. Hang up. Transfer to activate Press Transfer. (System) Dial system number. See Note. Press Connect to complete transfer. to swap Press Swap to switch between callers. 3-Way Calling to activate Press CentrexSHF. Dial the campus number. When the person answers. Press CentrexSHF. Dial another campus. number. Conference to activate Press Conference. Dial number (System) Announce conference. See Note. Press Connect. Repeat procedure for additional conferees. (up to six people with a maximum of 2 external people) Note: When you encounter a busy, no answer or wrong number press your blinking Line (DN) key to return to the original call.

Forward to activate Without lifting the handset. Press Forward. Enter number. Press Done. to reinstate Press Forward Press Done. to delete To change previously store number press the Delete key to remove each digit. Enter new number. to cancel/ Press Check Forward. Indicator goes off Press Cancel. Last Number Redial to use Press Line key twice without lifting handset or lift handset and press Line key once. Number is automatically dialed. Call Pickup to pickup Lift handset or press Line (DN) and press the Pickup key. Message to respond Message indicator is the red light on the top of the phone. Lift handset, press your Line/ DN personal extension. Press Message key to access voice mail. Speed Call (Station) to program Without lifting handset. Press SpcCtrl. Enter 1 digit code and the number. Press SpcCtrl again. There are 10 numbers. Code range 0-9. e.g. 0 9815171234567 Enter number just as you would dial it. to use Lift handset. Press SpcCtrl. Enter 1 digit code. The number is automatically dialed. Auto Dial to program Without lifting handset. Press Auto Dial. Enter number just as you would dial it. e.g. 9815171234567 Press Auto Dial again. to use Lift handset or press Line/DN Listen for dial tone. Press Auto Dial. Number is automatically dialed.

Note: If a Programmable Line/Feature Key is programmed with the Auto Dial Feature. The key can be programmed to display the name or number. Select the Options key and select the Change Feature Key Label. Press Change Feature Key. Press the Auto Dial key to be programmed. Use the Softkeys to delete all the letters in Auto Dial. Use the dial pad to enter the name or number. Press Done to save the changes.
