Five Basic Camera Buying Choices 1. Camera Type: DSLR or Mirrorless 2. Image Sensor Size: Full Frame, APS-C or Four Thirds 3. Three Price Levels: Low, Medium and High 4. Older or Newer Camera Model: Spend more for newer or less for older 5. Lens Choice: Basic lens, two lens set or All In One lens. There are other choices like image stabilization, flip screen, ISO, etc. that you can make in addition to these 5 basics. Narrow Search by Half and Half again Deciding on DSLR or mirrorless will narrow your search by about half, deciding on image sensor size narrows by half again. You can compare cameras in both categories to see which you like the best as well. Replacing an older digital camera body with newer camera body will update your digital photography s technology. Price and Camera Model Choices Cost is a factor when buying a digital camera. Most digital cameras have 3 price levels for each image sensor size and buying the latest model will get you newer technology you can save money by buying an older model. 2

Camera Body and Lens Choices When you buy a new digital camera you can get a basic lens, two lens set or All In One lens. Watching the Lens Buying Video you will see that I recommend buying an All In One Lens if you can afford it. It generally costs less if you can get it in a camera body and All In One lens package. Some lenses cost more and are usually a larger opening lens or possibly the pro model of that lens. APS-C lenses are x 1.5 and Four Thirds lenses are x 2 for the focal length and view.
