Secretariat responsibilities Coordination to facilitate alignment of new and ongoing activities on climate change adaptation being implemented by stakeholders in Tajikistan; Communication and outreach to ensure high awareness of PPCR activities and dissemination of PPCR knowledge products Sustained stakeholder engagement to ensure that PPCR activities take into account the views of a wide range of stakeholders through meaningful consultation; Monitoring & Evaluation to ensure efficiency, relevance and sustainability of PPCR

Key anticipated responsibilities of PPCR Secretariat (Year 2) Central coordination for PPCR Facilitate Phase 2 implementation; Promote dialogue; support the work of the Coordination Mechanism; seek synergies amongst stakeholders, including CSO, and help Government identify critical dependencies between activities Communication & dissemination: consult widely, collate results and documents, produce knowledge products and disseminate information and outputs Establish and maintain a monitoring system across the PPCR as a coordinating function to raise efficiency of project implementation and meet objectives; conduct annual reviews Support the delivery of capacity building TA
