> Prblem upgrading frm 2nd t 3rd generatin prducts This release f 10.8 firmware includes a fix fr the case where replacing a 2nd Generatin prduct with a 3rd Generatin prduct caused the device t rebt. The issue was triggered when the Crdinatin System database entry fr a camera was created with a 2nd generatin prduct and the device Netwrk hstname was blank. > Vide Stabilizatin fr SightSensr XA SightSensr XA nw supprts vide stabilizatin. This feature is based n the camera s mtin rather than relying n features in the vide. Allws use f stabilizatin with mving backgrund images such as water, trains and grass etc. > Fix ONVIF Event Subscriptin Remved ptential fr Alarm events t be drpped during subscriptin renewal. > New Alarm Zne Rule Disarm Zne When cnfiguring a SightSensr Plicy, an additinal ptin is available in the Rules called a Disarm Zne. This ptin allws fr a cnditin t be detected which will disarm current Zne r all Znes. This is useful in a situatin that is causing unwanted alarms, e.g. Camera is interested in detecting peple, hwever, when a train passes, it bscures the view f the Alarm zne where peple need t be detected. The train may have triggered alarms; hwever, when this new ptin is set, and the train first enters the camera field f view, the train will disarm the zne befre the unwanted alarms are generated. > Additin f Calibrated devices In this release f the Enterprise System, adding a calibrated camera t a SightMnitr site will shw a blinking camera icn if the GPS psitin f the camera cannt be shwn n the site map. This applies t bth 2 nd and 3 rd Generatin devices. > Firmware replaces camera bt cde if necessary SightSensr inspects the versin f the bt cde and replaces it if necessary. This upgrade addresses a rare situatin where the firmware wuld fail t bt crrectly. > Quicker bt times if primary firmware fails t lad SightSensr bt prblems will result in alternative firmware being laded after a shrter delay (3 minutes) after pwer-n. > Imprved IP Dme tracking SightTracker imprved detectin f User Mde with IP Dme prevents falsely disabling aut-tracking. Als, database integrity checks are perfrmed which will trigger Severe System Events if prblems are patched, and assciated Device ndes in the camera tree will blink and be frced t discnnected state. > After reviewing, saving r deleting a patched device, the Device nde can be set back t cnnected state r re-added. Upgrading t the new SightLgix Enterprise system If yu have an existing SightLgix system, d the fllwing t install the new sftware bth the server (Crdinatin System) and client (SightMnitr) ver an existing installatin: Check what versin f SightMnitr is currently installed (use the Help/Abut menu). If yu have a versin 5.2 r newer and 64-bit Windws machine cntinue with the upgrade. If yu have a pre-5.2 versin r are using a 32-bit Windws machine cntact SightLgix supprt t clarify additinal steps required t migrate yur system. Back up current settings. This step is ptinal but recmmended (current alarm plicy and ther infrmatin is nt verwritten during an upgrade). See Chapter 5 f the System Manual fr details. Run the install prgram as described in Chapter 2 f the system manual. Start up the SightMnitr and lg in using yur previus passwrds. Uplad the new firmware t the devices as described in Chapter 5 f the system manual. Knwn issues in SightLgix Enterprise system When using this release, please nte the fllwing: If the Firmware Upgrade windw reprts that the selected firmware is nt validated, please use the Refresh List buttn and reselect. When many firmware files are present, the Firmware Upgrade windw may falsely reprt File did nt have valid pst-header ctets and ther errrs. Currently this release f SightLgix Crdinatin System requires that the user select the crrect firmware image fr the target hardware device. Users with 3rd Generatin hardware shuld select firmware versin 10; users with previus generatin hardware shuld select 5. When adding a previusly Cnfigured camera which has been assigned custm username / passwrd, the user must add these credentials t the Cnfiguratin template befre an Add Camera peratin will succeed. In the Plicy editr, znes shuld be edited/added ne at a time. Click Save befre prceeding t the next zne. Likewise under Rule Editr". When editing is cmplete, Znes can be verified using the Zne verlay in the Camera Cnfiguratin. View the Znes in the camera s vide. In the Calibratin windw f SightMnitr, when entering calibratin pint infrmatin, cancelling frm a save, after a warning abut ut f range values, the bad value shuld be reverted t the currently saved value, hwever, the fields retain the bad value. User shuld clse and re-pen the Calibratin windw t refresh values. In the Calibratin windw f SightMnitr, when using the Shw Calibratin ptin, selecting Calibratin Pint 1 shws the psitin n the site map, hwever, after selecting pint 2 and re-selecting pint 1, the X des nt appear n the site map.
