Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour (December, 2016) This guided tour illustrates why people love using the OneMediaHub (OMH) personal cloud: all of their important digital content (photos, videos, files, music, contacts) is in one place their content is automatically organized with the ability to add albums, playlists, etc. a highlights section adds flashbacks and events (special occasions) to make content fun suggested search & filters make it easy to find things - great when there is a lot of content their digital content is accessible on all of their mobile devices and computers intuitive and natural sharing of content via email, apps, TV or privately with family while gaining unlimited storage on their mobile devices to avoid running out of space Initial Use When OMH first runs on a smartphone, you can create a new account. The app asks if your device content should upload on wifi or cellular. OMH initially uploads recent media and you can upload older items (see Secure Stuff below) while all new media automatically uploads. OMH uploads from the gallery and there is a way to upload from other device places.

Home Page The home page is the main screen to access your digital life. It organizes your cloud photos and videos in a timeline, with icons at the bottom to access other content (covered below). Above these are tabs for All and Albums. When your photos and videos are uploaded to the cloud, they are automatically tagged with 'themes' such as beach, waterfall and happy. This lets you search photos and videos using any theme (term) without manually labeling them. You can also create Albums and place items in them for easy reference. You can share albums and if you put new items in them, new items are automatically available to people with whom you shared. You can resize items on the home page by pinching in or out. A search icon near the top lets you find things in a variety of ways, including suggested terms. A 'power scroll bar' on the right lets you quickly jump to a date. You can tap an image to view it full-screen or to play a video. You can perform actions such as share (via 3rd party apps, email, etc.), add to album, get info (e.g. date, location, size) and set as favorite for easy access. In full-screen mode, you can swipe left or right to view your items. If an item is only in the cloud, you can download a copy on your device. You can delete items which go into a recycle bin until it is emptied. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 2

Highlights Highlights are accessed by tapping an icon near the bottom right corner of the screen. They are automatically created using photos and videos in your cloud. Highlights do not initially appear when OMH first runs but are created after OMH runs for a while. The Highlights icon shows a counter when a new highlight is created (see the Highlights icon in the prior screenshot). Two types of highlights are events and flashbacks. Events are occasions such as a party or wedding, while a flashback pertains to a past time. A Highlight is like an automatically generated album with a name, cover photo and a group of related photos and videos. You can edit various aspects of Highlights and share them with others. They help you get more fun and joy from your digital life. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 3

Other Content in Your Cloud OMH lets you include selected content from Facebook, Dropbox and Gmail in your cloud so that all of your important content is in one place for safekeeping and easy access. To do this, use the OMH menu for My Connections, select the content sources you wish to include and follow the on-screen steps. You will need to log in once per source so that OMH has permission. This is not a one-time import, rather, any new content in your selected sources goes into your cloud. When external content is in your OMH cloud, it is marked with an icon so you know its origin. Not all content is gathered from external sources, e.g. for Facebook, it includes photos and videos that you are tagged in or that you uploaded to Facebook. The external items remain in their original source and only thumbnails (images) go in your cloud. You can think of this as a master index and view of your digital life. If you delete an item in your cloud, it is not deleted from its original source. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 4

Docs The Docs page is accessed by tapping its icon at the bottom of the screen. It shows your cloud files organized by date. These items typically include files such as Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides, pdfs and text files. A tab near the top is for 'Sets' which are user collections of files. A set is like a folder but is called a set as its items can come from many places, not just computers but also mobile devices & other sources. An example of a set might be Cars which has a group of files related to cars. Note that a file can be in more than one set (this also applies to other OMH items such as photos and videos that can be in more than one album and music tracks that can reside in multiple playlists). A search icon near the top lets you easily find files by name, type of doc, source & more. The page has a power scroll bar on the right to quickly jump to a date and you can tap an item to view more about it. If you do, you can take actions such as open (in your preferred editor), share, mark as favorite, delete, download a copy and add to set. This lets you have all of your important files at your fingertips. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 5

Music Some people like their music in the cloud. Perhaps they don't use streaming or wifi is unavailable. Others have invested considerably in their music collection and like having an easy way to organize and play it. OMH lets you upload non-drm (digital rights managed) music to your cloud such as songs from a CD or that are purchased online (that are not DRM). OMH lets you create playlists, view tracks by artist and search (by type of music, artist, album, etc.). It plays music from the cloud via a built-in music player and lets you download a copy of your music to enjoy offline. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 6

Private Family Sharing OMH lets family members instantly and privately share photos, videos and docs. This is like a 'virtual fridge door' where families can post items that have special meaning to them for an extended period if time, like they might put on a real fridge door. The OMH family space, accessed via the Family icon at the bottom of the screen, lets people share photos, videos and docs in their cloud with family members who are notified when there is new content. It allows users to invite people to join their family and to manage membership. The OMH family space is like an instant, private, shared family cloud. It differs from a social network as it is private and items remain versus disappearing off a page. It differs from sharing via a messaging service such as SMS/MMS or WhatsApp as family content is preserved until removed (like until a photo is removed from a real fridge door). Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 7

Contacts Sync OMH keeps the contacts on your mobile devices in sync via your cloud. Your cloud can import contacts from Gmail and keep your contacts in sync with MS Outlook. OMH provides a way to fix contact duplicates e.g. if someone's info differs in multiple places. Contacts sync lets you keep a permanent repository of your address book that is independent of any device or system for safety and ready access. Having contacts in your cloud also helps when you want to share content as people's contact info is conveniently handy. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 8

Secure Stuff & Space Saver OMH keeps the content on your phone safe and your device running smoothly in two more ways. These functions are accessed via the My Device option on the OMH side menu. 'Secure stuff' (above left) automatically notifies you when there are items on your device that can go into your cloud and makes it easy to identify and upload them. 'Free up storage' (above right), when selected, deletes old items in your phone's gallery that are already in the cloud to free up device storage so your device doesn't run out of room. Funambol OneMediaHub Guided Tour Page 9

Using Your Cloud On Other Devices OMH is quite useful on other devices and the web. OMH provides apps for Windows and Mac computers to keep these in sync with your cloud, and provides flexibility over what is synced. OMH has a web portal (above) that you can log into to access your cloud, which is helpful while traveling or away from home, or when your mobile device is not handy. OMH also runs on tablets where its apps adjust for different screen sizes. Summary This guided tour scratches the surface of what OMH does and how it helps people simply and enjoy their digital life. There is a lot more to it such as: sharing via third party apps (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter) on mobile and web searching using suggested themes, places and more viewing your cloud content on TV and much more We encourage you to learn more about OMH by downloading the free OneMediaHub demo app from the app store on your smartphone and running it.
