Click the magnifying glass button. SEARCHING FOR FRIENDS Step Four A search results list will appear. Once you have identified the person you wish to become Facebook friends with, click on the Add as Friend link beside their name. Step Five Once the person accepts you as a friend, you will receive a message from Facebook. You will also be able to access this person s full Facebook profile page from

Step 6 When people begin to send you Friend Requests, they will appear in the top left hand corner of the Facebook Screen.

CHANGING YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS Step One In the top right hand corner, click on the Account link. A drop down menu will appear. Move your mouse to the Privacy Settings link and click once. You will see five areas that you can customize: Profile information, Contact information, Applications and websites, Search, and Block. Clicking any one of these five areas will open it up for you to begin modifying. Step Four Each area will have a list of your related information. (For example, Profile information will list your birthday) It will also list who is currently allowed to see each piece of information: Everyone (which

everyone with a Facebook account) Friends of friends, Only friends, and Customize. To change the settings, click on the drop down menu and select a setting. Facebook will save the changes automatically. Step Five Once you have changed all of the settings within an area click the Back to Privacy button to view and change another Privacy settings area. Remember, you can change your privacy settings at any time and as often as you like!

Step One To change your status, type anything you want into the text box that says: What s on your mind? When you are finished, press Share. When you change your status, your friends will be able to see your new status in the news feed and your profile and comment on it. To comment on your friend s status, you can either go to your friend s profile or the News Feed which can be found on the Home Page. Then, find a status to comment and either click on comment or write in the box that says: Write a comment. You can delete your comment by pressing Delete. Facebook Status

Step One To create a Friend List, first click on Friends on the left hand side of the page. From the Friends page, click on Create a List on the top left of the page. Enter the name of the list, and then click on the friends you want in your list. They will be highlighted when you select them. Then, click on Create List. When you want to see only the information from the friends in that list, click on friends and click on the name of the list. Managing Your Friends

Step One To create a photo album, go to your profile and click on Photos. Then, click on Create a Photo Album. Fill in information about the photos. You can also edit who can see the photos here. Then, press Create Album. Open the folder that contains the photos. They are usually in My documents. When you have opened the folder, select the photos you want. When you are done, press Upload. Photo Albums

Step Four You can now begin editing you photos. One thing you can do is tagging your photos. Tagging means identifying who is in the photo. When you tag someone, all of your friends will be notified in the news feed that the person has been tagged. To tag someone in a photo, click on the person in the photo and a list of friends will come up. You can select from a list of friends, and that person will be tagged. Or, you can type in their name and press tag. You can also add captions, select which photo will be the album cover, and delete photos.
