HiPER LOOK Server Introduction The HiPER LOOK Server allows users to access data within NUI containers via the standard web mapping service (WMS) and web map tile service (WMTS) interfaces. In addition to HiPER LOOK Viewer, which is a thin client that comes packaged with each HiPER LOOK Server installation, users can employ a variety of third-party viewers that support WMS and WMTS to view data served by the HiPER LOOK Server. This guide outlines how to configure the HiPER LOOK WMS and WMTS in a few common third-party clients such as Google Earth, Esri ArcMap, QGIS and GIA. Google Earth Installation Download and use the provided installer at http://www.google.com/earth/index.html. Using with HiPER LOOK Server 1. Start Google Earth. 2. Navigate to the desired location on the globe that corresponds to the layer data. Figure 1: Google Earth PIXIA Corp. Copyright 2015 PIXIA Corp. All rights reserved. Page 2
3. Click the Add Image Overlay icon in the toolbar. Figure 2: Add Image Overlay 4. The New Image Overlay dialog will open. In the Name field, input a name for the overlay (e.g. HiPER LOOK Server).
