2.1.2 In-Lab Instructions 2.1.2.1.1 Step 1: Setting your files 1. Launch MS PowerPoint and open the document as rhino-poaching-firstname_lastname.pptx. Resave the file as rhino-poaching-firstname_lastname-complete.pptx to your Desktop. 2.1.2.1.2 Step 2: Using Screen Shots and Recording Using any web browser go to www.google.com and type the following subject on the search: Open the WWF report Leave this page open so we can take a picture of it in PowerPoint. Now go back to your presentation and create a new slide at the last slide using layout Title Only 2 P a g e

Now use the handle bars to resize the image without losing the aspect ratio of the image. To do that use the corner handle bar to resize the image: Final result: Now let s record narations in PowerPoint so that each slide will have vocal naratives. 6 P a g e
This should start the presentation at the very first slide. Please note the record controls that appears on the upper left corner: Go through the entire presentation either with your navigation keys or the mouse. Once the presentation is complete you should see the narrative icon appear on the lower part of your presentation: You can click on this and it will playback the vocal recordings for each slide. 7 P a g e
If you place your cursor over the speaker icon, the playback controller pops out 2.2 STEP 4: PAGE ACTIONS Go to the last slide And insert a page link that would take you to slide # 2: First lets insert a textbox: Now let s change its properties: 8 P a g e

Using your web browser go to http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/black-mamba/video-full-episode/5348/ And using the screen shot tool do a screen shot on this web page 2.3.6.2 Do a recording Record something to your presentation note that you should have this icon when it is completed 2.3.6.3 Insert an Action Go to the last slide and insert a textbox. Enter the following text inside your text box: Go to slide 2 Change the format of your textbox to anything but the default style.
