Mac User Guide Using Riffmaster Pro on your Mac is easy and it is made to be intuitive. To make it even easier we have documented the functionalities in this document for your reference. Download and Set Up Go to our website www.riffmasterpro.com and follow the prompts to download your copy of RiffMaster Pro. You can either start with the 10-day Free Trial or purchase the full and licensed version directly. Simply follow the download and install instructions. Here License When you first start RiffMaster Pro you will be asked to confirm your license key.
Full version If you have purchased the full version you will have received a License Key. Please enter the number in the Key field and press Validate. Your license is now registered and you will not be asked to confirm your license again. Demo version If you want to run the demo press Try Demo. The demo will let you run RiffMaster Pro for free for 10 days from installation Each time you launch the software this license window will appear, until your trial expires or you choose to purchase the full version of the software.
Upgrade from Trial to Full version If you want to purchase the full version press Buy and follow the prompts. Once completed you will receive a License Key to use to register, as above. Start RiffMaster Pro Once installed on your Mac, you can simply start RiffMaster Pro from the Applications folder. Functionality and Features This is the main window of RiffMaster Pro. You can hide and show the Media Library list by using the bottom right of the window. button at the Audio Files You can play all audio files with any of the following formats: wav, aitt, mp3, ogg, flac, m4a, mp4, cda In order to play a track in RiffMaster Pro the file first needs to be added to RMP Media Library. Add Track Click on the button on the top of the window. A standard finder browser window opens up.
Find the audio file you want to add and click Open or double click on the file name. The file is now added to RMP Media Library and can be seen in the track list. Play Track Double click on the track you want to play from the RMP Media Library list. It will take a moment for RMP to load the file. Once the track is visible in the Audio Wave Window it is ready for RMP to play. Delete Track Highlight/mark the track you want to delete from the RMP Media Library Click the button and the highlighted track will be deleted from the list. Search Track You can search for a file that has been loaded into the Media Library. Type what you are looking for in the search field.
You can search on any of the available file details. Create Loop Click and drag with the mouse cursor in the wave window, to mark the beginning and end of the loop. The loop area will now have a darker shade than the rest of the window. You can resize and/or move the placement of the loop as well, simply by grabbing in the loop area with your mouse cursor. Remove Loop Right click with your mouse cursor inside the loop and choose delete, or use the back space key on your key board. Save Loop Use Export Audio in the Application Menu to Save a Loop.
Choose a name and a location for your Loop. Tick the box to Export Selected Loop. Choose a format: MP3 128kbps AIFF 44kHz/16bit Press Save. Speed Change the speed by dragging the slide bar with the mouse cursor or by clicking the - /+ to change the speed in small steps down/up. You can also use the accumulative buttons, -10 and -20 to take larger steps in slowing down the speed. The number in the top right indicates the current speed, as a percentage slower/faster than the original speed. Click 0 to Reset to the original speed. Pitch
Change the pitch by dragging the slide bar with the mouse cursor or by clicking the - /+ to change the pitch down/up in semitones. You can also fine-tune the pitch up/down with the arrows. The number in the top right indicates the current pitch, as semitones up/down from the original pitch. Click 0 to reset to the original speed. Zoom You can easily in and out of the wave window. With the mouse pointer inside the wave window you can use: the scroller on your mouse Ctrl +/- on your keyboard or right click and choose Zoom In or Zoom Out Reduce Vocals If this is not visible, first open up the Settings by clicking the Right of the window. at the bottom Turn on the vocal reduction by clicking the Off button which now changes to On. Adjust the vocal reduction level by dragging the slide bar with the mouse cursor to change the level down/up. Turn off the vocal reduction by clicking the On button which now changes to Off. Balance If this is not visible, first open up the Settings by clicking the Right of the window. at the bottom Adjust the balance of the stereo output by dragging the slide bar with the mouse cursor or by clicking the L/R to change the level left/right. Click the arrows to reset to the original balance.
EQ If the EQ option is not visible, first open up the Settings by clicking the bottom Right of the window. at the Use the button on the lower left to open up the EQ window. Choose any of the presets and/or change to your own preference by dragging the slide bars to desired position. You can Save your EQ settings by clicking on the will now appear in the list of presets. and give it a name. The name Highlight a preset and click to Delete. Save and Export File Use Export Audio in the Application Menu to Save and Export a file.
Choose a name and a location for your Loop. Tick the box to Export Entire Track. Choose a format: MP3 128kbps AIFF 44kHz/16bit Press Save. Add Notes Right click in the wave window and choose add note Add any text and press Done. You can move the placement of the note by dragging it to where you want it to appear in the window. Right click on the note to Edit or Remove.
You can add Multiple Notes in the same window. Edit Details Use the button on the bottom to Edit the details of a file. Type in the details you want and press OK. Play Cursor Move the Play Cursor as you like by clicking on the desired position in the window. Help Choose Help from the Application Menu. and choose from the following options: Watch Demo videos Opens up your browser window and takes you to the Video page on the RiffmasterPro website.
