Release Notes Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM) efficiently manages asset lifecycles, streamlines maintenance operations, maximizes supply chain performance, enhances safety, and improves regulatory compliance. It is a utility-specific solution, which allows utilities to improve work efficiency and infrastructure reliability while reducing maintenance cost and capital requirements. Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management captures the maintenance and failure history of assets in the enterprise and enables the user to plan project work and estimate effort, resources, and materials. Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management is the leading Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) solution for project-intensive industries. It provides comprehensive project scheduling and tracking management to the utilities business enterprise. Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management provides the ability to manage resources and timelines visually through a feature-rich interface and has a web services interface for integrating other products. Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Integration to Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management is a new AIA Direct Integration product. This integration delivers powerful asset and project management functionality, enables utilities to excel at the management of critical infrastructure as well as complex overhauls, routine maintenance, and capital intensive projects. Utilities have the ability to plan a project in the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management application and then send the project related work records to Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management for resource loading, leveling, and scheduling. The integration benefits our utility customers to: Assess, prioritize, and select the best projects to invest in while managing contingencies and other risk factors. Improve management and integration of the engineering, procurement, and construction processes and reduce associated risk. Reduce shutdown times and improve productivity of internal and external resources. Manage with a limited pool of talent to maximize existing craft productivity and capture best practices for future projects and new hires. Create Project Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management sends data for a project to Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management. This information sent from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management is used to create a project structure in Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management. The information provided from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management includes Project, Subproject, Work Order, Work Order Task, and Craft Assignment for a Work Order Task. Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management sends an acknowledgement back to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management after the project creation is completed. Update Project Details Retrieve Project Details Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management send data updates for a project to Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management. This information sent from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management is used to update a project structure in Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management.
