I N L A B E L S PURPOSE: This program is part of the Inventory Control Report Subsystem. It generates printed labels for specified part numbers. The inventory location is another option that can be selected. The information that is printed on the labels includes part number, inventory location, Category/Class, part description, bin location and optional price or cost amount. - CONTINUED ARE THERE LABELS IN THE PRINTER? This question is a reminder to put the label forms in the printer which is going to print the labels. Enter 'N' to print the labels on stock paper, and the program will skip the alignment test question. Enter 'Y' if label forms are in the printer. ALIGNMENT TEST? (Y/N) Since this is a forms type program, this question asks the operator whether to print an alignment test. Enter 'Y' for 'Yes,' and the program will print data to determine if the form is lined up properly for the label print routine. This question will keep repeating as long as the response continues to be 'Y'. If a direct print routine is being used, the operator will see the alignment test after each 'Y' is entered. The paper can be adjusted according to the print pattern until the alignment properly fits the paper. Respond to this question with 'N' for no more alignment tests. At this time, the program will proceed to print the labels. When using the spooler for this print request, answer the alignment question 'Y' 5 times. Then answer 'N', and the program will proceed to write the alignment tests and actual labels to the spooler file. When the program has completed, the spooler will print on the printer. Since 5 alignment tests were requested, take the printer off-line after each test to adjust the print pattern accordingly. At the end of the 5th alignment test, the labels will begin printing. The next questions displayed will be determined by the initial input. These questions will determine which part numbers will be printed on the labels. If the initial input was 'R', the next question displayed will be: Prophet 21, Inc. 6

Up to 100 requests can be entered before they must be printed. Enter <spaces> to print the labels for the receiver numbers entered.
