Page: - 2-1. Product Overview This software (HEM-HyperElectronicsMappers) for remote control is designed to be installed into a PC for use within a surveillance system. Installation System requirements It is recommended to install the HEM software using a PC that meets the following system requirements to avoid the occurrence of problems such as the slow pace of play or the software lock PC Compatible IBM PC / AT CPU Intel Pentium 4, 1.6 GHz or higher. OS MicroSoft Windows XP, Windows 2000 with SP4, Windows View. Monitor 1024 x 768 or higher. Memory (DRAM) 512MB or higher, minimum 1024MB recommended. Network interface Ethernet, 10/100 Base-T LAN, or other interfaces that can be connected to the Internet DirectX MicroSoft DirectX 9.0 or higher. Other Windows XP KB319740 Package if Windows XP SP2 is installed. Before you run the HEM software on your PC to make sure that: 1. Username - The user name for LOGIN. It must be present in the password list in the DVR. There are different levels of user / password and each level has different tasks. These maps are defined TOP LEVEL, as we shall see. Player.hem, PTZ.hem They represent respectively the DVR control panel and the control panel PTZ dome camera. These graphics are not TOP LEVEL and can be inserted in other maps.

Page: - 11-3.3 Operations on objects There are 6 types of objects that you can insert in the HEM maps: 1 - Camera 2 - Alarm 3 - Alarm output, 4 - DVR, 5 - Action (action), 6 - Link (link) The descriptions are as follows: Camera This object is linked to a camera connected to a DVR. In live play, if this item is not iconized, the camera video is displayed in a rectangular window, and the audio, if the camera is selected, it will be played on the PC. In each map you can enter a maximum of 32 objects "not iconized" refers to a single DVR. alarm Input This object is corresponding to the input of a DVR alarm. The icon indicates the status. alarm output This object corresponds to an output of a DVR alarm. The icon indicates the output status, and you can, in RUN mode, click on it to activate the exit at will. A device (DVR) This object corresponds to a DVR. This icon allows you to view by clicking it all cameras connected to the DVR in multivision. Action (action) With this option you can place an icon linked to a specific action. Eg. the movement of a speed dome camera, playback in DVR etc. The action will be executed when the icon is clicked. The complete list of available actions is described later. Link (link to another HEM map) With this object fits into a LINK map that points to another map (only the TOP LEVEL NOT type). Add an object

Page: - 12 - In HEM program, click Object menu, and select Camera, alarm input, alarm output, device, Action, or Link, depending on the type of object you want to add. Once the desired item has been selected, click in the map and drag the mouse to create a rectangle the size desired. When you release the mouse you insert the object. Object Properties To select and highlight an object, click on the menu Object, then click " select object ". Now you can click on any object created earlier in the map to select it. Once an object is selected, you can click the right mouse button, then select Border to change the size and the color icon contour, or to select Properties to modify its properties. For ICON means displaying an icon representing that camera in the map with an indication of motion alarm. To VIDEO / ICON and ICON / VIDEO means you can switch the display between VIDEO ICON or vice versa by simply clicking in PERFORMANCE mode the right mouse button and selecting or clearing the Iconize voice. there

Action -> Show Message, Buzzer - These two options allow you to show the warning message and / or activate the buzzer of the PC when the trip occurred. Action -> Interval - to define how long the BUZZER PC will remain active after the alarm. Security

Page: - 20 - The system allows an unlimited number of user accounts. There are two levels of password for the system, Admin ( the highest) and Operator ( the shortest). The operator can only operate in the run mode and can not change configurations. To enable password protection of the program will check the voice Enable. In the following boxes you can set up different user name, password and access level (operator, administrator). Once these values click on Add to add the new user, click on Modify to change the voice that is highlighted, click on it Delete to delete the entry that is highlighted. If a user is going to tick Default Login the system will propose this user as a default startup. System The HEM program is multilingual and is set automatically according to the language of Windows. If the user wants to use a different language, different from that of Windows, you have to turn off the voice AUTO DETECTION, then select the desired language.

Page: - 21-4. Run mode HEM Once the program is configured to make it operational must switch to RUN mode. In execution mode, the program performs the actual link to remote DVR through the local network or internet. Before execution Before activating the execution mode check the following: 1. Only Playback / Freeze options affect all objects on the map. SEQ Mode / Cameras Activate the cyclical scanning of all the cameras for which it was programmed function SEQ. If the camera is iconified icon will signal the presence of an alarm. If the camera is not iconified you can perform various operations on the video in question. In fact, clicking on the view with the right mouse button opens a dialog box with a set of operations that the user can set - Full screen - full screen camera - ID - the camera number - Playback - Bring the camera in Playback mode for searching recorded image - Freeze - Freeze the image - Print - Prints the frame - Snapshot - Save the frame fromato BMP Other options are inactive. If the camera is set to the video option / icon or icon / video you can switch between views with a double click. Alarm Input The input of an alarm condition, will be shown by a special icon. No possible commands. Alarm output The alarm condition of an output, will be shown by a special icon. The user can click on the icon for direct alarm output control. Note that if you open too many maps to the point of consuming too many PC resources, HEM automatically closes the least recently open maps. If this is not a map TOP LEVEL will never be iconized, but visible

Page: - 26 - for user commands. Utilities 4.1 - TOOLS Connect In HEM program you can connect directly to a DVR programmed list without using maps. Click on Tools, then select the menu Device. To connect the program to the DVR just select the device to which you want to connect in the list, as shown below, then choose how many windows you want to display, and finally click OK to confirm.
