My own plans are made. While I can, I sail east in the Dawn Treader. When she fails me, I paddle east in my coracle. When she sinks, I shall swim east with my four paws. And when I can swim no longer, if I have not reached Aslan s country, or shot over the edge of the world into some vast cataract, I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise. Reepicheep
at the end of the world you can ride the wave into Aslan s country (which has doors which open out into all of the worlds)
But, the children are told to return home. Since Lucy and Edmund are too old ever to come back, Aslan encourages them to know him in their world by another name.
Smuggled Theology
Transformation: Eustace is transformed into a dragon (the outer form of his inner disposition), and is transformed again by Aslan himself
He turns into a dragon, but undergoes a change of heart (overcoming his ego-centrism) after being befriended by Reepicheep, repents, sheds his skin, and is baptized
The presence of the Spirit: Lucy and the magic book Aslan appears when she contemplates the beauty spell and when she says the visibility spell, but chastises her for saying the eavesdropping spell. He counsels, Don t run away from who you are and promises to sing her the song she has forgotten.
A journey into the hidden caves of Narnia to rescue Prince Rilian, the son of King Caspian, from the clutches of the Queen of Underland
Aslan blows Eustace back into Narnia after he falls into a gorge trying to save Jill
Aslan invited Jill to drink from the river and then makes her memorize four signs that will lead her on the journey to rescue Prince Rilian
Puddleglum is a Marsh-Wiggle who serves as Jill s and Eustace s guide and companion on the journey.
Good morning Guests he said. Though when I say good I don t mean it wont probably turn to rain or it might be snow, or fog, or thunder. You didn t get any sleep, I daresay. Now a job like this-a journey up north just as winter s beginning, looking for a Prince that probably isn t there, by way of a ruined city that no one has ever seen-will be just the thing. Very likely, what with enemies, and mountains, and rivers to cross, and losing our way, and next to nothing to eat, and sore feet, we ll hardly notice the weather. Those lamps will give out in five minutes, I shouldn t wonder.
