Pinterest What is Pinterest? Pinterest is like an electronic bulletin board that allows users to save and share photos they find on the internet. Usually when a user pins a photo it is linked to a blog or another website. You can also upload your own photos. Pinterest describes its self as a virtual pinboard to organize and share the things you love. Members of Pinterest can: Upload photos Pin pictures from different websites Share things of interest See what other people are interested in Registration In order to register for Pinterest, you can use either your Facebook account or an email address. If you simply use an email address you will not be connected with your Facebook account. If you connect with Facebook, the items you pin will show up on your Facebook newsfeed unless you uncheck the Facebook box that we will discuss later in class. You are able to view pins and comments without signing up for an account. However, if you would like to make a comment, like, or repin you must complete the registration process. 1 of 9
