Usage Notice: Do: Turn off and unplug the power before cleaning the product. Use a soft dry cloth with mild detergent to clean the display housing. Unplug the power if the product is not used for a long period of time. Ensure that the ambient room temperature is within 5-35 C. Relative Humidity is 5-35 C, 80% (Max.), non-condensing. Reading LED indicators The Power LED is lighting orange when projector is charged. The Power LED is lighting green when connected with AC power adapter in standby mode or the battery is fully charged. Installing the battery 1. Slide the battery cover open. 2. Place the Li-Ion battery into the compartment. Note that the metallic contacts must be aligned with the contacts in the compartment. 3. After the battery is properly installed, replace the battery cover. Charging the battery 1. Connect the cable. Connect one end of the supplied AC adapter to the USB port of the projector and the other end to a wall outlet. OR Connect one end of the supplied USB cable to the USB port of the projector and the other end to a powered PC. Make sure the projector is powered off. 2. The charging LED turns orange and the charging starts. 3. When interrupted the LED went off. Inserting a memory card (optional) To insert a memory card, do the following: 1. Open the SD card cover. 2. Gently push the card as indicated until the card reaches the bottom of the slot. To remove the memory card, gently push it down and it will pop up. Then pull the card out of the slot. Turning on/off your projector Slide the Power switch to ON position to turn on the projector. To turn off the projector, slide the Power switch to OFF position. Adjusting the Focus Adjust the Focus by using the Focus switch to get a sharper and clear picture. 4

Functions and Operations Main menu After turn on the projector, you will see opening screen first then main menu as below. VIDEO: This function allows users to select video file to project on screen. PHOTO: This function allows users to select JPEG image file to project on screen. MUSIC: This function allows users to select MP3 files to play on the projector. SETTING: This function allows users to set some preference settings such as Language, Format, Beep sound and Default. FILE: The File Navigator is a fast and convenient way of moving between tracks, files and folders. CARD CHANGE: This function allows users to select the storage devices between internal memory and SD Card. It s normal that the projector will feel warm with continuous use due to its high performance. 6

Playing Video 1. Use the Left/Right button to select Video and then press OK button. 2. Use the Up/Down button to select target folder or video files. 3. When selecting one Video file, press OK to play it. (Some larger files may require more time to load) Please convert all videos with the bundled Arcsoft Media Converter to have the right file format which can be displayed by the projector. 7

During playback 1. Press Left/Right button to move to previous/next file Long press Left/Right button to fast forward and fast rewind 2. Use Up/Down button to control volume. 3. Press OK to pause the video (OK again the continue). The following status information will pop up. Icon Item Description Fast Rewind Pause Play Press Left button: scroll the files up. Long press Left button: fast rewind. This is a button to pause a Video file during playback. This is a button to play a selected Video file. Fast Forward Press Right button: scroll the files down. Long press Right button: fast forward. 4. When playing video, press menu button to set up the following features. Pressing menu button to bring up and close the menu screen. Playing Photo 1. Use the Left/Right button to select Photo and then press OK button. 2. Use the Up/Down button to select target folder or a photo displayed in preview mode. 3. After a photo is selected, press OK to display full size of this photo. 4. Use the Left/Right button to display previous or next photo. 5. Press Menu button to setup the following features. Pressing menu button to bring up and close the menu screen. Pressing return button to back to previous menu. Pressing OK button to confirm the setting. Music On/Off Starts playback of music which is located in same folder like the displayed picture. Speed 3/5/8 sec Set the time a image is displayed to 3, 5 or 8 second. Slideshow On/Off Starts or stops a slideshow of all picture in the selected folder. When giving a presentation using PowerPoint/PDF documents, please save the PPT/ PDF file into.jpeg format. The playback sequence is in the order of the first digit Arabic numerals, such as 1, 10, 100, 101, 11, then 2, 20, 21, and so on. To avoid playback order confusion, please rename the file 1 ~ 9 as 01 ~ 09, 100 as A100, etc. 9

Playing Music 1. Use the Left/Right button to select Music and then press OK button. 2. Use the Up/Down button to select target folder or MP3 file. 3. After MP3 file is selected, press OK to play it back. (play once only) 4. Use the Left/Right button to playback last or next mp3 file. 5. When MP3 is playing, use the Up/Down button to adjust the volume. 6. Press OK to pause music, and press OK again to resume playing. Press Menu button to setup the following features. Pressing menu button to bring up and close the menu screen. Pressing return button to back to previous menu. Pressing OK button to confirm the setting. Removing Files When you enter Video, Music, Photo or File s file list, you can select the file that you want to delete, then press the Menu button to delete the file. 12

Headphone Using headphone to listen to music. (also suitable for playing video) 1) Connect headphone to AV jack of projector. 2) Press OK to select Audio Out. Headphone jack Headphone adapter Long time hearing at high volume can damage the ears. 13

File File Press the File button, you will find Video, Music, and Photo files in the file browser. 15

Card Change This function is to select which memory to use for playback. 1. Use the Left/Right button to select Memory and then press OK button. 2. The Memory Check box will display as above. Use the Up/Down button to select the memory type. 3. Press OK button after selection to return to the main menu. If there is no memory card inserted, the screen will only show internal built-in memory status. External SD card has memory capacity of up to 32GB. 16

Playing files in other devices Connecting the projector to your media players Before connecting your media player to projector, you need to have media player dedicated composite AV-out cable and projector AV cable ready. Connect Composite AV-out cable to media player. 2. Connect both AV cables (yellow to yellow, white to white and red to red). White might be black on some Media players or cables. Please make sure that your media player is enabled with AV-out function. Connecting the projector to your mobile media devices 1. Connect the other end of the projector cable to the AV jack of Projector. 2. Now you can project image and audio from projector. You also can control the volume from control panel (Up/Down button). Connecting the Projector to your Notebook/PC Before connecting your laptop PC to projector, you need to have VGA cable ready. Once you want to use notebook power take this cable shown here. You have three options to supply the projector with power: 1. Using the two USB cables embedded in VGA cable 2. Using the external power supply 3. With internal battery The two USB cables are not important for data transfer. If you do not have any free USB ports use the external power supply or batterie to bring power to your projector. 1. Connect VGA cable with the Projector of Notebook/PC interface, at the same time with two UBS ports for keep supplying power. 2. Turn on Notebook/PC and projector. 3. Press Ctrl+ from keyboard for changing projector mode. Projector can support computer resolution settings as below: 1024*768(XGA) 800*600(SVGA) 640*480(VGA) 18

File management with a PC Follow the procedures below to manage files in either built-in memory or memory card by using a PC or Notebook. 1. Make sure the projector is powered off. 2. Connect one end of the bundled USB cable to the USB port of the projector and the other end to a powered PC. 3. Turn on the projector. 4. A removable disk will appear in your computer. PC can only recognize one storage medium each time (If the projector with SD Card inside, the computer will detect the SD Card. If you want to detect the internal memory, you have to remove the SD Card.) Do not switch the storage medium during operation. When connecting the projector to PC USB port without turning on the projector, the PC starts charging the battery inside the projector. To read the files in the memory, press the Power button or remove the battery first. Battery Life Indicator Icon Description Full battery life Moderate battery life Low battery life Empty battery life Note 1: To avoid sudden outage of power supply, you are recommended to plug AC power adapter first then take off the battery when the icon indicates low battery life. Note 2: When Battery Low message appeared on the screen, the projector will be powered off automatically. 19

How to download YouTube video for projection During installing ArcSoft Media Converter (AMC), you are recommended to install ArcSoft Video Downloader as well. It will bring you more convenience to download the videos from the Internet and convert them as mp4 format to be played back in your projector. Then you can share them with your family and friends. How to use ArcSoft Video Downloader 1. Complete the ArcSoft Video Downloader installation. 2. Run Internet Explorer 6 or above. 3. Launch your favorite webpage and then move your cursor to the video clip. 4. Click the download button on the top left corner of the window. 5. This video file will be downloaded into AMC automatically. Please specify the file destination and press Start to make file conversion. 6. The converted video will be as into the assigned directory as mp4 format. 20
