Assembly 1. Fitting castors to the base plate Parts required: 1 4 M10 x 65mm UNB Cap Bolt 10 4 M10 nyloc nuts 13 4 25 mm x 10mm spacers 14 4 7mm x 10mm spacers 15 2 Castors With Brakes 16 2 Castors Without brakes 18 1 Base plate Brake Castors - Break castors go to the front legs of the plate. The order of assembly is as follows: Order Description 1 M10 x 65mm UNB Cap Bolt 2 25 mm x 10mm spacers 3 Castor With Brakes 4 7mm x 10mm spacers 5 M10 nyloc nuts Non Brake Castors - Non Break castors go to the rear of the plate. The order of assembly is as follows: Order Description 1 M10 x 65mm UNB Cap Bolt 2 25 mm x 10mm spacers 3 Castor Without Brakes 4 7mm x 10mm spacers 5 M10 nyloc nuts 2. 3. Fitting to Column to the base plate Parts required: 1 2 M10 x 65mm UNB Cap Bolts 8 2 M10 Flat washers 17 1 Column Place the column onto the base plate and secure it with bolts 4. Install X-ray mounting plate and accessories Parts required: 2 4 M5 x 15mm UNB cap bolt 3 2 M3 x 10mm CS Philips screw 4 3 M10 x 20mm CS Allen Head 11 2 Black handles 12 1 Hand timer Holder 20 1 X-ray mounting plate Take X-ray mounting plate and fit to top of column as shown Attach handles and plastic hand timer holder to Column as shown 5. Fitting the X-ray Machine to the Mobile Stand Parts required 5 2 M10 x 25mm CS Allen Key head bolts 6 2 M10 x 35mm CS Allen Key head bolts 7 4 M10 Lock washers 9 4 M10 nuts X-ray machine wall mounting plate (supplied with new X-ray machine) * Note: Rotate scissor arm mounting block on wall mounting plate prior to attaching plate to stand Bolt the X-ray mounting plate to the mobile stand ensuring the M10 x 25mm bolts are installed at the bottom of the plate Install as level as possible # 5 - M10 x 25mm CS Allen Key head bolts William Green Page 6 of 8 Printed 12/01/2011, 2:07:42 PM
Installing the pin to the block Parts required 21 1 Pin (in accessory bag) 22 1 M8 x 25mm Cap Bolt Remove one only M8 Bolt from the right hand side of scissor arm mounting block Insert the pin ensuring the flat surface is to the top and facing the direction of the installer as shown M8 bolt to be removed and replaced with a new M8 x 25mm bolt The groove in the pin must line up with M8 x 25mm bolt Install new M8 x 25mm Cap bolt (# 22) into the scissor arm block with existing washer ensuring that the bolt locates in the groove in the pin, allowing the pin to move freely of a distance of approximately 60. Installing the Scissor Arm Parts required 23 1 Dog Point screw Break kit (supplied with new X-ray machine) Install the scissor arm on the pin *Note: Attach the X-ray head before releasing the scissor arm strap as scissor arm is under tension. Insert the dog point screw ensuring that screw meets on the flat surface of the pin to lock the scissor arm from moving on the pin. *Note: The pin only spins in the aluminum block NOT in scissor arm. X-ray arm is only to travel within the two legs of the floor stand, approximately 60. As shown below.
