Global Warranty is no longer supported by Internet Explorer 8. If you are unable to upgrade to IE9, IE10 or IE11 you may want to use Google Chrome or Firefox. If you are using IE11 you need to put the page in compatibility mode. To learn about compatibility mode, click here. If you are not sure of the version of your browser, select Help in the menu bar of your browser and choose About. Note Turn off pop up blocker as some pages require. 2
3 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Registration Purpose: To Show the Dealer and Direct Dealer how to register a product. Note that you have to have the product registered before you can file a claim. Log into Global Warranty Training Go to http://globalwarranty.davisware.com/globalwarranty You can obtained the login information from your manufacturer. If you have forgotten or do not have a login or password. You can also use the Forgot Password? function. Enter the serial number and select search. 3
4 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Use the calendar function and enter the purchase date. Select Add Owner. Select the business type from the drop down and enter all remaining information. Select Save. 4
5 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Add any notes. Make sure you read the 2 statements at the bottom and check the boxes. Then select submit. You have successfully submitted the registration. Now you can either email the registration and thank you letter or individually print them. 5
6 Global Warranty Dealer Guide There is another way to register a product. Go to Warranty Claims > New Claim Enter the serial number and tab out of the cell. The model number automatically populates and you will see a pop up message. Do you want to register? Answer yes. And now you are back to the same registration screen above. 6
7 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Warranty Claim from Dealer Stock Purpose: To Show the Dealer and Direct Dealer how to make a claim from a product that is in dealer stock. There may be a situation where you want to make a claim on a piece of equipment you have in dealer stock. To do this go to Warranty Claim > New Claim Enter the serial number and tab out of the cell. The model number automatically populates and you will see a pop up message. Do you want to register? Answer no. Another pop up will then ask Is this serial from the dealer s stock. Answer yes. 7
8 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Fill out the required information on the summary screen and select Save. You will see 7 new tabs. Select the parts tab. Select Add Line Item. Add the part number and tab out of the cell. Select Save. Add additional line items as required. 8
9 Global Warranty Dealer Guide If the part is a miscellaneous part, check that box and add item description, quantity and unit price. Now go to the Labor Detail tab and select Add Labor Line. Enter the technician name, date and hours and select Save. 9
10 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Make sure you are aware that some parts have flat rates and are automatically reflected on the labor tab. Part number 629FN-001A was entered on the parts tab and the flat rate was automatically entered on the labor. Do not duplicate the labor line. Now go back to the summary tab and select Submit Claim 10
11 Global Warranty Dealer Guide The next step is to select OK to submit the claim. Note in this example the claim requires at least 1 part that needs to be returned for approval and payment. Direct dealers are submitting the claim to the Country Clippers, while distributer dealers will be submitting the claim to the distributer. 11
12 Global Warranty Dealer Guide If the claim requires a part to be returned, the warranty claim return authorization form will automatically auto populate for you to print. To print the report, select View Report 12

14 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Entering a Claim Purpose: To Show the Dealer and Direct Dealer how to use Global Warranty to Enter a New Claim and Search for a Serial Number. Log into Global Warranty Training Go to http://globalwarranty.davisware.com/globalwarranty You can obtained the login information from your manufacturer if you have forgotten or do not have a login or password. You can also use the Forgot Password? function. When you login to Global Warranty, you will first see the Claim List. The claim list will give you a quick snap shot of all your claims that are in various stages in the claim process. 14
15 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Find the Warranty Claims menu from the upper left of the screen and hover your mouse over it. When the menu opens, select New Claim from the list. The model number will be displayed below the serial number at a minimum. Fill out the necessary and select Save. The required information is highlighted in blue and marked by a red asterisk (*). Depending on the size of the computer screen, scrolling up and down, left and right on the page may be needed. 15
16 Global Warranty Dealer Guide You will see 6 new tabs. Select the parts tab. The claim status will automatically change to Staging at this point. Select add line item. 16
17 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Enter the item number and tab out of the cell. The item description will auto populate. Enter the quantity. Select Save. If the item number color is: Red RMA required and flat rate part. Green RMA required and no flat rate part. Blue No RMA required and flat rate part. No Color No RMA required and no flat rate. NOTE: The part auto populates as you type. If the number stops auto populating, it is not a valid part number. You can enter multiple different item lines. The App Quantity field is for the distributer or manufacturer. To enter a miscellaneous part, check the box to the right. Then enter the item description, quantity and unit price. Enter additional parts as required. Note in the example below that 2 parts have a flat rate. This is indicated by the (2) on the Labor Details. 17
18 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Now go to the labor tab and select Add Labor Line. Note in the example below that 2 parts have a flat rate and the labor hours are system generated. Do not duplicate these hours. Enter the technician name, date and hours and select Save. Note 1: Technician is a required field. Note 2: The Actual column is for use by the Dealer. Distributer and Manufacturer logins will fill in the Approved column when necessary. You can enter labor hours by either entering a Time Started and Time Completed or directly into the Hours field. 18
19 Global Warranty Dealer Guide As an option, you can select the Activity tab. Select the Add button to open up the activity info. Enter a note and select Save. Another option, you can select the File Room tab. Examples of files you might want to upload are a picture of the part or piece of equipment or a copy of the invoice. 19
20 Global Warranty Dealer Guide Select Browse and find the file, then select Upload. After all entering parts, labor, optional activity and file room, return to the Summary tab and select Submit Claim. 20
21 Global Warranty Dealer Guide After you select Submit Claim a window will open summarizing the claim. If any of the top fields show a red X, you will need to fix the issue relating to the claim before you can submit. If you have all green check marks, you can select Ok. Note: This submits the claim to the manufacturer for direct dealers and to the distributer for distributer dealers. 21
