INTRODUCTION Television broadcast, live and event production staff must deal with constant change and pressure while staying on air with quality images and sound. You have the best staff and the best video equipment which is expected to respond quickly to changing conditions like late-breaking news, but how does your production control system measure up? Your team needs a control solution for your video servers, VTRs, switchers and routers that minimises costly on-air and production errors, easily redistributes workloads, is expandable and is easy to learn and use. You need a system that is cost effective, expandable and gives years of security and growth. AVITA is a flexible control system - for growth and change Hi Tech has produced a truly unique product in AVITA - a new production control system providing real-time machine control solutions over your network. Consisting of a collection of software and hardware tools and components for recording, searching and playing media. AVITA integrates into the production chain with the use of metadata. AVITA exchanges data with MAM and NRC systems. AVITA software components are easy to deploy and work on Windows, MAC or Linux operating systems. In addition, for wireless remote AVITA provides the ability to deploy applications (apps) on the latest handheld tablet devices.
