Chapter 2: Monitor Installation Nematron Analog Monitors are very easy to install. As you set up your system, please refer to the following procedures. 2.1 Cable Connections 2.1.1 LCD without Touch Screen If you want to install LCD without Touch Screen, just connect the VGA cable from LCD connector to the system VGA Signal Input port. The power connection you can choose to use the 12VDC jack (with a 12VDC power adaptor that ship with each unit) or the terminal block. In the terminal block connector, 12V or 24C DC inputs are available. 13
2.1.2 LCD with Touch Screen If you want to install LCD with Touch Screen, please connect RS-232 connector from LCD to your COM port on the PC. The driver for the touchscreen is provided on the CD, which ships with the Monitor. 14
2.2 Panel Mounting Nematron Analog Monitors are suitable for panel mounting. As you mount this flat panel display, please refer to the diagram below. Care should be taken in applying torque to the clips. An alternating pattern of tightening the clips should be used so that even compression of the perimeter gasket is achieved. Only about 50% compression is required on that gasket to achieve a NEMA 4 seal. Take care not to apply too much torque as damage can be caused to the front panel.
