BAE Systems employee app - installation Guide The App was created for BAE Systems for distribution to employees in Saudi Arabia for the delivery of Company related news. It is a proprietary enterprise app for ios and Android devices and as it is a proprietary App, before it can be opened it must be trusted on the device. The App does not interact with your device in any way. No data is gathered or shared. Trusting the App is required in order for it to function properly and receive news articles. Any bookmarked news articles are temporarily stored on the device. The App is available for ios and Android devices. ! Make sure your device is connected to the internet before you start this process 1. Open the download page on your mobile device. If typing it, please enter the url in full www.baesystems.com/employeeapp. You can also scan this QR code: 2. After you have read the terms of use document, tap ios. The app will download in the background. To check if the App is successfully installed, go to your home screen and swipe to find the app icon. You should see this icon 3.! When an enterprise app you've manually installed is first opened you see a notification that the developer of the app isn't trusted on your device. You can dismiss this message but you can't open the app. If you open the app now, you will see this message because the app still needs to be trusted. 4. When the install is complete, go to Settings > General. 5. Tap on Profiles, Profiles & Device Management, Device Management or similar. The title depends on your device type, the version of ios on your device and whether you have installed profiles for other services. 6. Look for the section called Enterprise App and tap on BAE Systems Plc. You may have to scroll down if you have multiple profiles installed. 7. Tap Trust BAE Systems Plc then tap Trust to confirm.! If you aren't connected to the Internet when you trust the app, the device displays "Not Verified" instead. Before you use the app, you must connect to the Internet then tap the Trust App button. 8. This developer remains trusted until you use the Delete App button to remove all apps from the developer. You can also delete the app by pressing and holding the app icon until the x displays and then tapping the x. This will remove the profile if it is not used by another app. 9. Go to your home screen and swipe to find the app icon. Tap on the icon. 10. Enter your username (clock number) and password then tap submit. Remember, your initial password is the last 3 digits of your clock number, last 3 digits of your Saudi ID or Iqama & last 3 digits of your Bupa membership number. When you first open the App, you will be prompted to accept push notifications. These notifications will be used to inform you of urgent communications, and will not be used for routine news. 11. The final step of the installation process is to reset your password. Please follow the on-screen prompts to change your password. If you install the app on a second device, please use the most recent password you set. You will also see the reset prompt again. From the opened interface, tap the Security option under the PERSONAL section. 3. Tap to check the checkbox representing Unknown sources under the DEVICE ADMINISTRATION section.
