Recording and Playback Recording 1. Make sure the product is turned on. 2. Press record button once to begin recording. 3. Speak clearly into the microphone on the base, for up to 30 seconds. 4. Press the record button a second time to save the recording, the LED will stop glowing red. 5. Subsequent recordings will record over the previous message. Playback 1. Press on the top and in the middle of the Sound Arounds to hear the recorded message. Sound Around TM Using the line-in socket The Sound Around has a line-in socket. This enables the user to record audio from an external sound or music source, such as an MP3 player, PC or CD player. Using the AUX lead supplied: 1. Your Sound Arounds are supplied with an AUX lead. 2. Plug one end of the lead into the Sound Arounds and one end into the MP3 device or CD player s headphone socket. 3. The Sound Arounds will record the sound being played through the external device s headphone socket. 4. Press record on the Sound Arounds then play on the external device. 5. To end the recording press the record button a second time.
Sound Around Additional Features The Sound Arounds are made from a hardwearing EVA material. Sound Arounds can be used outside, but are not designed to be left outside. The Sound Arounds are supplied with 15 stick on plastic wallets so that each Sound Arounds can be individually decorated. International Charging Adaptor & 8-way Splitter The Sound Arounds are supplied with a multi-region adaptor. The adaptor is supplied with the UK plug fitted but you can change this easily to suit any country. Press the release button behind the plug head and slide the UK plug out and replace with the required plug module. Slide the plug module in until it clicks in place securely. The safety isolating transformer to be used with the product should be regularly examined for potential hazards such as damage to the cable, cord, plug, enclosure or other parts. In the event of any damage, the adaptor must not be used until the damage has been properly repaired. The toy is not intended for children under 3 years old. The transformer is not a toy. The toy must only be used with the recommended transformer. To save charging time the Sound Arounds are supplied with an 8-way splitter, this allows all 8 Sound Arounds to be charged simultaneously.
