Using the Menu 3. Using the Menu 1) Homepage Explanation on using the Homepage. 1 By clicking the HINO Logo located in the upper portion of the page, the homepage will be displayed. 2. 1. 3. 1. Using the Menu 2) Self Menu Explanation regarding the Self Menu. 1 By clicking the Self button, a menu will be displayed in the left portion of the display. 1. 2. 3. 4. 1. Profile Details : Can confirm the user`s recorded information. Language,Timezone Setting can also be set in this menu. 2. Learning : Message Can confirm the notice coming from the LMS system. Displayed details are the same with ones sent through E-mail. : Training Schedule Displays the registered courses and lessons can be accessed from here. Using the Menu 3) Timeline Explanation regarding Timeline. 1 When Timeline is clicked, the registered courses and due date are displayed. 2 When VIEW DETAILS is clicked, the course details are displayed. 4. 3. 2. 1. 1. START Button Lesson can be started by clicking this button. 2. Status : Display for lesson items status. :Completed lesson. :Lesson in progress(failure in completion tests are also regarded as in-progress) :Lesson not yet started. 3 Attempt History :Date completed and score is displayed. 4. Lesson Procedure 1) How to start the lesson Explanation on how to start the lesson. 1 Click the VIEW DETAILS button of the course taken located in the Homepage Timeline. 2 Please click the START button to start the lesson. When reviewing already completed items, access it through the Training Schedule. - 11 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 3 The course selected will pop up. And then, please click NEXT to start the lesson. For activities with a prerequisite that must be completed, the course cannot be started without the condition being cleared. Please complete the required activity. - 12 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Replay : Refreshes the page. Next : Proceed to the next page. * Does not show up when all of the page contents are not read. Browsed items are marked with a check. 2. INDEX : Shows the section contents. 3. Close : Stops the lesson. * Display is closed by clicking the X button on the browser. 4. Button : Click to show the contents of the lesson. 5. Lesson Procedure 1 Once the contents are understood, click the Next button. 2 Detailed explanation can be seen by clicking each buttons. - 14 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 3 To return onto the previous page, click Close. 4 Items that were already seen are marked with a check. The Next button won`t show up when all of the items aren`t checked. - 15 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 3) Changing Pages Explanation regarding changing pages. 1 When returning to the previous page, click the Back button. 2 Returning one page back is possible. - 16 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 3 Lesson status can be confirmed by clicking the INDEX button. Completed pages are marked with a check. By clicking the items with a check mark, the completed page can still be reviewed. 4) Guide Character Display The guide character will advise for the next operation when the user doesn`t know the next step. 1 When What should be done next? is clicked, the guide character will show up. Lesson Procedure 5) Interrupting the Lesson When the lesson is closed/interrupted, in can still be reopened on the interrupted page next time. 1 Click Close during learning. N/A:Completion test not taken. 0%:Failed the completion test. 100%:Passed the completion test. 2. Percent complete :Shows the learning progress. 0%:In the middle of the lesson. 100%:Finished all the learning items. 3 First launch date :Shows the date when the lesson was started. 4. Time elapsed :Shows the learning time. 5 Topic status :Displays the section learning status. Incomplete:Did not complete all the items. Failed:Completed all the items but failed in the completion test. Completed:Successfully completed all the items. - 19 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 4 When the OK button is clicked, it will go back to the beginning. 5 Interrupted lessons will be marked as IN-PROGRESS. - 20 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 6) Resuming Lessons Explanation regarding resuming interrupted lessons. 1 Click the Start button of the interrupted course. 2 The course will pop up, and then when a course interruption history is detected, another button will show up. Start Resume : Resets the course interruption history and starts the lesson from the beginning. : Continues the lesson from the interrupted part. - 21 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Lesson Procedure 3 There is a check mark next to the finished items when the INDEX is opened. It is possible to start on the items not yet marked with a check. Finished items that already have a check mark can still be reviewed through the INDEX. - 22 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 5. Tests 1) Performing confirmation tests A test is prepared at each section. Check all the answers before submitting since you can only proceed to the next section by completing all the questions. 1 Examine the question then choose if it is True or False. - 23 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 2 After answering, click the Answers completed button. 3 If there is no problem with the confirmation test answers, click OK. You can return to check the test again by clicking Cancel. If there is an unanswered problem, it will be highlighted in red. - 24 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 4 A Next button will appear if the test is completed, click to proceed onto the next item. If failed, review the contents again and retake the exam by clicking the Replay button. Confirmation tests has a passing score of 100 points. - 25 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 2) Performing completion tests A completion test is given at course`s end. Check all the answers before submitting since course can only be completed at 80% or more. 1 Examine the question then choose if it is True or False. 2 After answering, click Answers completed to compute the score. 3 After the grade has been computed, click the Transmit button. - 26 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 4 Click the X button to close the window. If the test is failed, click the Home button, then select the completion test from the INDEX to retake the examination. If the result of the completion test is a FAIL and the window is closed without retaking the questions, it will determine that the items in the lesson are not yet fully understood. Because of this, all of the check marks will reset and should start from the beginning. - 27 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 5 When a dialogue box such as illustrated below pops out, click OK. By clicking OK, the test results are sent to the server. 6 When another dialogue box such as below pops out, click CLOSE. When LAUNCH is clicked, it is possible to continue and reopen the lesson. 7 The result of the training will be displayed. After checking the score, click OK. - 28 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Tests 8 The result on the section taken will be displayed. When the HINO Logo is clicked, it will return to the homepage. - 29 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Reviewing 6. Reviewing 1) How to start the review Explanation on how to review finished section. 1 Click the Training schedule located in the homepage`s upper portion. It can also be accessed through Self LEARNING Training Schedule. 2 When the COMPLETED tab in the Training schedule window is clicked, the finished section will be displayed. It is possible to review the sections by clicking the Review button on the section to be reviewed. During review, the course starting date, end date, score history cannot be changed. - 30 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Settings 1) Language, time zone settings Explanation regarding on how to set the language, and time zones. 1 Click the Self in the upper-left of the screen, then click PROFILE DETAILS. 2 Clicking the PREFERENCES tab will change the displayed page. Select the language and time zone using the pull down box located in the page. 3 After selecting, click SAVE. Please re-login in order for the changes to take effect. No changes will take effect if not logged out. - 31 - Hino Motors, Ltd.

Settings 2) Change password Explanation regarding changing password. 1 Click the Self in the upper-left of the screen, then click CHANGE PASSWORD. 2 Type the current password. Please refer on the required password format when changing to a new password. 3 Click CHANGE PASSWORD to finish the password change. - 32 - Hino Motors, Ltd.
