Introduction Previously, there was no convenient way to incorporate a Southwest Airlines reservation into an Apollo PNR. Southwest Airlines reservations cannot be booked through Apollo and Southwest Airlines has no affiliation with Galileo International. Now, Galileo offers travel agents in the U.S. and Canada the ability to move easily from your Focalpoint /Viewpoint desktop to the Southwest Airlines Web site, and then back again with. Galileo Flight Integrator also works with FocalpointNet. Install the Galileo Flight Integrator to access the Southwest Airlines Web site from your desktop. When it detects a completed reservation on the Web site, it provides you with a way to incorporate the Southwest.com booking information into an Apollo PNR. In this Guide This document includes the following sections: Installing the Galileo Flight Integrator : This section includes software requirements, hardware requirements, and an installation guide. How it works: This section includes an introduction to how the Galileo Flight Integrator works to incorporate Southwest.com reservations into Apollo using either Focalpoint or Viewpoint. The Booking Process: This section introduces a four-step booking process. Error Messages: This section includes a list of possible error messages and explanation of why you might receive them., July 04 3

Installing the Galileo Flight Integrator Hardware and Software Requirements Installing the Galileo Flight Integrator Operating system: Windows 98 or higher. Windows NT and higher users should have Administrative user rights to install (found in Start/Control Panel/User Accounts). Browser : Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher Size: The executable file (.exe) is 3.39mb Default program location: C:\Program Files\Galileo Flight Integrator. The folder or drive may be changed during installation. Start Menu: Start, Programs, Galileo Flight Integrator, Galileo Flight Integrator (Start, All Programs for Windows XP users). System Tray Icon: An icon will auto launch at startup for all users and appear in the system tray. Follow the steps below to install the Galileo Flight Integrator. 1. Double-click the file: GalileoFlightIntegrator.exe The Welcome screen appears. 4, July 04

2. Click Next to continue, or cancel to quit the setup. The Destination Location screen appears. This screen shows you where the Galileo Flight Integrator will reside on your computer. Click Browse to select another location. 3. Click Next to continue. The Start Installation screen appears., July 04 5

4. Click Next to begin the installation. Click Cancel to cancel the installation or click the back button to change previous information. The Installing screen appears while the installation takes place. When the system is ready to complete the installation, the following message appears. And then the Finish screen appears. 5. Click Finish. 6, July 04

The installation is complete when the Galileo Flight Integrator About screen display appears. When you see this, the Galileo Flight Integrator is opening on your system tray. This screen also appears when the Galileo Flight Integrator loads after a system restart/reboot. Updates Galileo Flight Integrator regularly checks for updates. If a newer version is detected, the Flight Integrator Update Available dialog appears. Click Here goes to a link where the Galileo Flight Integrator the software update is available. You will be prompted for a pseudo city code, and PIN to access the update. If you do not want to update now, click Cancel or select Do Not display this message., July 04 7

How it Works Use the Galileo Flight Integrator to easily access the www.southwest.com Web site, complete a Southwest Airlines reservation, end the record, and then send the record to Apollo where you can save it in a PNR. Please Note: Use of Galileo Flight Integrator will cause an Internet browser window to open and for the user to assess Web sites outside the Apollo system. Any site so accessed is beyond the control of Galileo International and/or outside our service. Galileo and its affiliates do not control such sites, and, therefore are not responsible for their contents or the hyperlinks or advertising they choose to place on such sites. Galileo has no affiliation with such sites and your access to such sites does not imply any endorsement by Galileo of the material on such site or an endorsement of Galileo by the owner or operator of such site. The site(s) you access outside of the Apollo system are not governed by the terms and conditions of use or privacy policy of Galileo and may have their own terms and conditions of use and/or privacy policy. You should review those terms and conditions of use and privacy policy before utilizing the site(s). Operating Details When the installation is complete, the Galileo Flight Integrator is set to run. It is also placed in the startup folder so that it starts automatically when your system is booted. It displays the icon on your system tray, usually found in the lower right-hand corner of your desktop. When the Galileo Flight Integrator is first started, this screen is displayed for three seconds or until everything necessary for the program to run is initialized, whichever takes longer. Then it places the icon in your system tray. 8, July 04

Task Tray Icon After installation, a Galileo Flight Integrator icon is displayed in your system tray, usually found in the lower right-hand corner of your desktop. It changes colors depending upon how it is being used. White = stand by mode. When Galileo Flight Integrator starts, the splash screen is displayed. It then hides itself, showing the icon in the task tray. When it is in stand by mode, it searches for an active Focalpoint /Viewpoint session. Green = active mode. Active mode begins when Galileo Flight Integrator detects Focalpoint /Viewpoint running. The program is looking for an open browser, determines if the browser version is compatible, and then searches for a Southwest Airlines confirmation page. Red = page detected. A Southwest.com/swabiz.com confirmation page is detected. Galileo Flight Integrator displays the Information to be entered into Apollo dialog., July 04 9

The Icon Menu When the system tray icon is white or green, you can right-click the system tray icon to view a Menu. If a field is missing from the PNR the Incomplete PNR notification message appears (see explanation, next page). Note: Any changes to the itinerary after the HHPR is built will require you to re-enter HHPR manually. Click OK When Ready This message first appears centered on the desktop and then floats to the corner. It remains in view on the desktop so you don t have to search for it when you have finished updating the PNR. If you move it to another location, it will float to that location the next time. Click OK Click Cancel When you have finished updating the PNR, and the program will enter the HHPR information. And there will be no further attempts enter information into the PNR. The Galileo Flight Integrator returns to Active mode. To begin again, you can double-click the Galileo Flight Integrator icon in your task tray, and select Reset. 28, July 04

Important Note: Any changes to the itinerary after the HHPR is built will require you to re-enter HHPR manually. To avoid this possibility, Viewpoint users should add additional itinerary segments before entering the Received field in the Save PNR dialog (which ends the record). Focalpoint users must end the PNR manually. Click Cancel The Galileo Flight Integrator will make no further attempts enter information into the PNR. It displays the Error notification asking if you want to report an error to Galileo. PNR Update Cancelled If you decide to cancel the PNR update, the following screen appears. Follow the instructions on the screen. This does not cancel the Southwest.com reservation., July 04 29

Error notification Do you want to send an error report to Galileo? Click Yes Click No If you want to report an error. Go to Error Messages in the next section for additional information. If you do not wish to report an error. To begin again, you can double-click the Galileo Flight Integrator icon in your task tray, and select Reset Error Messages While the Galileo Flight Integrator attempts to add an itinerary into Apollo from the Southwest.com/swabiz.com Web site, errors can sometimes occur. Below, a few of the most probable error messages are discussed. The Error Message Process The chart below identifies a basic error message situation, and explains the results based on your action. The error messages used in this example are similar to what you might receive in a real situation. 30, July 04

Error Message: Incomplete PNR Error Message: Error You attempt to fix the error (in this case, you add the required PNR field(s)). The Incomplete PNR message remains on the noti until you click OK or Cancel. Click OK Click Cancel If you click OK, the Galileo Flight Integrator reattempts the HHPR command. If the required fields are now present in the PNR, it will process through to completion. Any changes to the itinerary after the HHPR is built will require you to re-enter HHPR manually. Note to Viewpoint users: If you want to add additional itinerary segments, you should do that before you enter the Received field in Viewpoint. The Viewpoint Save PNR dialog ends the PNR (and redisplays, if this option is selected). If you click Cancel, or if Apollo cannot complete the process because more than three unknown error messages have occurred, the Galileo Flight Integrator displays the Error prompt. If you click Yes, the Sending Error Information message appears. Click Yes Click No If you want to report an error. The Sending Error Information dialog box appears. If you do not wish to report an error. The Failure error message appears. To begin again, you can double-click the Galileo Flight Integrator icon in your task tray, and select Reset, July 04 31

Error Message: Sending Error Information Click OK Click Cancel Click OK to send the error report after filling in the required fields. This dialog box functions identically to the one displayed when you click the Send Bad Page button on the Information screen. However, instead of sending the HTML page, it sends the entire communication log (commands sent to the Apollo and the responses received). If you do not wish to report an error. To begin again, you can double-click the Galileo Flight Integrator icon in your task tray, and select Reset Error Message: Failure This final error message appears after you have attempted to store a PNR in Apollo, but received an Incomplete PNR error message. 32, July 04

Once Galileo Flight Integrator has either finished adding the record information into Focalpoint /Viewpoint, or the agent has cancelled the process, it returns to Active mode. The red icon changes to a green icon, if Focalpoint /Viewpoint is still running and it continues to check for new Confirmation pages.
