Each surge suppression mode in the is individually fused for safety. The SPD uses a sealed, EM 4X housing, allowing installation in harsh environments with limited space. Operating status lights are easily observed and provide verification of protection. The VL-SQ SI 36-2-120 provides compact protection of 120 V applications with bonded neutral and ground. The VL-SQ SI 40-3-600 is for three-phase Wye applications up to 600 V with bonded neutral and ground. The VL-SQ SI 40-3-600D is for three-phase Delta applications up to 600 V. Type 1 SPDs can be connected on either side of the service entrance. Disconnects to the SPD are recommended. ll wires must be connected to properly installed circuit breakers sized according to the wire gauge.
