Read Notes 1 & 2 before Proceeding to Step 1, important!!! *Note (1): This report has security, so that you can only run it for Department IDs that you have been authorized. If you get a message that the department ID is an invalid value, then please contact PS_FINANCIALS@aug.edu to find out how to add additional departments to your security. *Note (2): This report runs on a large amount of data. Therefore, you can only run one Comprehensive Financial Report at ONE time. If you run too many at once, then it can cause server response time issues and processes being delayed for all PS Financials users. Step 1: Log into PeopleSoft Financials as normal Navigate to Comp Financial Report. On your homepage locate the NavBar on the top and far right of the screen. Then click on and find the Navigator icon. Click on the icon as well. Page 1 of 6

Step 2: Navigate to AU Components and select it. Step 3: Navigate to AU Interfaces Reports and select it. Step 4: Navigate to Report and select it. Page 2 of 6

Step 5: Navigate to Comp Financial Report and select it. This will take you to the Comp Financial Report page. The full path is as follows: NavBar -> Navigator -> AU Components -> AU Interfaces Report -> Report -> Comp Financial Report Step 6: First time running Comprehensive Financial Report, click on Add a New Value tab to create a new Run Control. (Previously created Run Control, stay in Find an Existing Value tab, and click on Search to find your Run Control name) *Example below depicts the creation of a new Run Control and remaining steps for the Comprehensive Financial Report* Page 3 of 6

Step 7: On Run Control page, enter a Fiscal Year (i.e., 2015). It needs to be a 4 digit year. Then enter the Accounting Period, this is a number 1 12. Accounting Period 1 is July, 2 is August, 3 is September, etc. You can now choose to run the report by CFC or Project ID. If you run it by CFC, then you must enter a Department ID in the Department box. You can leave the %, wildcard, in the other chartfield boxes or you can fill them in the Fund Code, Program Code and/or Class Field if you want a specific CFC. *If you want to run it by Project ID, then click on the Comp Fin Rpt by Project ID, and enter the project ID in the Project box.* Once your data is entered, then click on the Save button to save your criteria on your Run Control. In this example, we will run it for one department. Step 8: Run the report, click on the Run Button. Page 4 of 6

Step 9: Process Scheduler Request pop-up appears, verify that the format is PDF, and click on OK to run the report. Step 10: Now returned to the Comp Financial Report page. To get the report output, click on Process monitor by the Run button. Step 11: Page 5 of 6

Process List page appears. Click the Refresh Button until the Run Status is Success and Distribution Status is posted. This is a long report, so, it can take a while to run. Step 12: See the report, click on the Details link. Step 13: Process Detail page appears. Click on View Log/Trace. Step 14: Click on the PDF file to view the report. Page 6 of 6
