Jump Start Graduation Revision Policy All Jump Start graduation pathways will be available for review and downloading on the Department s website using the following link: www.louisianabelieves.com/jumpstartgraduations The Department reserves the right to make administrative updates to Jump Start graduation pathways periodically, including but not limited to updating course codes (including new course code equivalencies for courses listed), correcting errors on course codes, correcting spelling errors and other similar changes. The Department reserves the right to delete courses no longer meeting state standards. When this occurs, the Department may add a section to the graduation pathway indicating: Courses Deleted from this Graduation. The Department will communicate regularly with Jump Start Regional Teams to update the courses listed in the Course Progression section of each graduation pathway. The Department will also maintain contact with certifying agencies and the Workforce Investment Council (WIC) to regularly update the Statewide, Core and Complementary credentials indicated in each graduation pathway. The Department will enable principals, administrators, teachers and counselors to receive an automatic update when a Jump Start graduation pathway is updated by signing up to an automated notification system. The Department will maintain a dynamically- updated roster of Statewide, Core and Complementary Jump Start credentials on the Department s website using the following link: www.louisianabelieves.com/jumpstartcredentials Louisiana educators can seek assistance with Jump Start graduation pathways at any time by emailing their questions to JumpStart@la.gov or by contacting the Department of Education Counselor Assistance Center at 877-453- 2721.
