Error: After the Hitachi Web service restarts (as in the Restart Web Service workflow), the system responds with an error message for the next operation. The Web Service does not communicate its status to the Device Manager. Recommendation: Run the Close All Storage Array Connections workflow before you restart the web service. Error: The HNAS Backup VM workflow does not support special characters. 5
Known Problems Error: Create File System with illegal characters results in API call failed error message. Error: You see a message, Device Manager instance (xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx) does not exist. The storage connection has been closed. This occurs because when the web service restarts, there is no event from the web service (server) to tell the client (VMware Orchestrator) that it is resetting. The instance that existed in the Inventory is no longer valid, thus it needs to clear the Orchestrator s Inventory. Recommendation: Run Close Array Connections to clear the inventory Error: You see a message for Add V2I profile, The underlying connection was closed: The connection was closed unexpectedly. Recommendation: Run Close Array Connections to clear the inventory and retry.
