A typical day at my desk starts with me checking my email hosted by Office 365 and setting up my weekly appointments in Outlook. This is connected to my Mitel Unified Communicator Collaboration software and our ConnectWise CRM. Next, I work in Hubspot, a hosted servie where I define and manage my tasks for the week ahead; be it phone calls, meetings, or reminders. It is powerful prospecting tool that allows me to quickly gain specific information about targeted companies and prospects. This connects back to my Office 365 account, allowing me to provide inputs to our CRM. Everything is tracked and recorded, providing a historical stream of communication with all my clients.
Throughout my day, I use the Mitel Unified Communicator to reach out to colleagues. This application shows a complete directory of everyone in the company and their current status. The system dynamically changes their status, so if they are away from their desk phone when I call, their cell phone will ring. If they re in a meeting or on the phone, I will send a secure chat to them. This chat is encrypted end-to-end and can include attached documents and web links. With the click of a button, I can turn the chat into a video conference that utilizes a standard web camera. All of this is hosted on a single user interface, the Mitel MiCollab application.
