Word 2013 and 2010 for Seniors In this file you will find the differences between the Word 2013 and 2010 for Seniors book and the Word 2016 program. If you are using Windows 10, opening Word will work in a different way. This is also explained in this file. 1.1 Opening Word Page 20 + footstep 1 in Appendix A This is how you open the program Word 2016 In Windows 10: and then click the Word 2016 icon:. Or, if the icon is not present in the Start menu, you can do this: Type: word Page 21 The layout of Word 2016 is a bit different. For example, the upper bar is a darker color, and, in contrast, a selected bar will have a lighter color. Page 21 If you display the Quick Access toolbar below the ribbon, the button with frequently used commands appears to be gone. But it is just hard to see due to the background color. Place the pointer next to the last icon on the Quick Access toolbar, and the button will appear again.

The new folder is selected: Now you extract the files. The files will be directly placed in the Documents folder. Uncheck the box by During the extraction operation you will see a small window:

The compressed folder is saved in the Downloads folder. This window is still open. You are going to delete the compressed folder: If necessary, click the folder the tab Close all the windows Now the practice files have been stored on your computer s hard disk.
