The Cuelist pop up will disappear and the light on the Clear button will start flashing Double Click Clear Close the Keypad by clicking the keypad icon. Note that the Cuelist number is not necessarily the button number in the Cuelist Bank Open the Cuelist Values View to look at the cuelist. We ve recorded Cue No1 with the name Cue 1, the Trigger Go, a delay of 0 seconds. A fade of 2.5 seconds with default fade mode. The values are fixtures 1-8 at intensity 75% and Red Pars colour preset What this means is that when you press Go the lights will fade up Red to 75% intensity over 2.5 seconds without any wait. Page 15 of 25
Try it. Double click on the cuelist you ve just created. The fader pop up appears. Press Play or Go Adding Cues to a cuelist To add cues to a cuelist repeat Creating Cues. Open Cuelist View Editing Cues Click on Edit Mode Click on what you want to edit. (For this example we ll change the fade timing of Cue 2) Enter the new data using either the computer keyboard or Keypad (the data appears in the Command Line) and hit return. When you have the next cue ready open the keypad Click Record Click Cue Using the Keypad enter the Cue number (in this case 1.5 ) Click Enter It may be easier to use the Cuelist Values View so you can remember the Cue number you want. In this example we ve inserted a cue to change the Pars to Yellow Page 18 of 25
Editing Cues 2 To change something in an existing cue there s an easy way. For example let s change the colour of half fixtures in Cue 1. I m using the Groups Preset View but it is sometimes better to use 2D Plan View Do the changes to the fixtures you want to change Open the Keypad and click Record Click Cue and enter the Cue number you want to change. Click Enter This pop up will appear As we only want to change half the fixtures click on MERGE current data. If you click on REPLACE with current data it will delete all the existing data in the cue and replace it with what you have just changed. INSERT point before makes a new cue before the cue number you ve chosen. INSERT point after makes a new cue after the cue number you ve chosen. I have never tried REMOVE THESE VALUES FROM Q or EDIT command so don t know what they do. Page 19 of 25
Go back to Cuelist Values View and you can see the changes Page 20 of 25
I suggest you regularly save the show data Click on the Quick Menu Button Then click on save Which opens your computer s default Save window and generates a maxxyz file based on the date and time Page 21 of 25
Click on Save or hit return. Page 22 of 25
