EMAIL Setting up your email account so that you will be able to send and receive email with your new email account. Why you should your new email accounts! We at Payghost believe that the webbased email accounts commonly used such as gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc are for carguards and spamers and the many con artists who regulary send out spam mail promising millions from inheretance and lottery wins. Next time you get such an email, try to reply and you will find, guaranteed 99% of the time that these mail comes from a.gmail,.yahoo,.hotmail etc, account. Professional business people should have their own email accounts linked to their business domain. This add credibility to you and the organisation and will help put your business on the map. Imagine if we at Payghost have to send you correspondence using an email account like payghost@gmail.com as opposed to info@payghost.co.za. You are more likely to take us seriously is we used the latter. Even if you are already using a telkom email such as payghost@telkomsa.net we suggest that you change over to your new email acccounts with your very own domain provided by us. This will not only give your prospective clients confidence in your operation but will help search engines such as google and yahoo to rank your site favourably and thus making it easier for people to find you on the world wide web (internet). We have set up the new email accounts on our servers as per your request. You will now have to follow the instructions below and install them onto your computer, laptop, ipad, smart fone, blackberry etc (device on which you wish to receive your mail ). Remember if you already have email accounts installed on your system, you can still add on the new accounts. You can have as many email accounts as you wish on a single system and they will not interfere with each other. Below is the detailed instruction for Outlook (most commponly used) and the Blackberry. Blackberry (there may be slight variations) Step 1 Go to SETUP and then choose EMAIL SETTINGS Step 2 If you already have an email/s account/s installed, you will see it listed here. Scroll down and select ADD. Scroll down until you come to OTHER. Select OTHER. Now enter the email address we have provided you with. Next enter the password and click NEXT You should see the following: You have successfully added : youremail@yourdomain.co.za A new icon for this from your device. Click on OK
Installation for OUTLOOK Open Microsoft Outlook. Go to Tools. See Diagram Below. Click On Account Settings
Click on NEW. If you have other email accounts setup you will see them on the screen Select Microsoft Exchange,POP 3, Imap or HTTP
Tick the little box. Manually Configure server.types and then click on NEXT
Select - Internet E-mail then NEXT Click on NEW
Complete the fields as per the information supplied by us. Click on MORE SETTINGS then click on tab GENERAL. In the top field you can put in anything. You need not complete the ORGANISATION and REPLY E-MAIL fields. This is optional
Click on OUTGOING SERVER and select MY OUTGOING SERVER.AUTHENTICATION and USE SAME SETTINGS AS MY INCOMING MAIL SERVER Now select Connections and select CONNECT USING MY LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN) and click on OK
Don t Change anything on the ADVANCED option. Click on OK Click on TEST SETTINGS- you will see the following screen. Ensure that the tasks say Completed For other version of Microsoft Outlook go to www.payhost.co.za for detailed settings.
