WSIS Stocktaking Report 2012 The fourth edition of the biennial WSIS Stocktaking report 2012 will reflect more than 1,000 WSIS related activities from May 2010 to the present day, each emphasizing efforts carried out by governments and stakeholders actively working towards achieving WSIS goals. WSIS Project Prizes 2012 Pilot Project WSIS Stocktaking Process /stocktaking/prizes

Prize Ceremony The Prize Ceremony will be held during the WSIS Forum 2012 on 14 May 2012, in Geneva, Switzerland. The ceremony will be followed by a day long series of presentation sessions on project implementation by managers from winning organizations. The representatives of the winning organizations will be invited to showcase their projects to the public, mainly focusing on the impact of their projects for the development of the Information Society. /stocktaking/prizes

WSIS Project Prizes 2012 MORE THAN 170 PROJECTS RECEIVED FROM 50 COUNTRIES The winners of WSIS Project Prizes 2012 will be announced to the public during the WSIS Forum 2012. WSIS Project Prizes 2012 will provide international visibility and recognition, with winners showcased at two interactive sessions: WSIS Stocktaking: WSIS Project Prizes Showcasing (Part 1)on Tuesday, 15 May in Room IV from 11.15am -13.00pm WSIS Stocktaking: WSIS Project Prizes Showcasing (Part 2)on Wednesday, 16 May in Room IV from 9.00 am - 10.45 am.
