Installation Option B: Serial to USB wiring loom. Please note the order of installation. First, run the Driver Installer Program before plugging in the USB to Serial adapter. If you have already connected the device during the driver installation, you need to re-connect the device for Windows to enumerate the device and load the installed drivers. Activating the MULTiLOG 1. Remove the battery isolator tab to start the MULTiLOG. 2. Power up the PC. 3. The most recent Microsoft Windows software will find the new serial ports and ask for the PCI (for Option A) or the USB to serial (Option B) CD-ROM to be placed in the CD-ROM drive so that the serial port drivers can be installed on the PC. 4.
