CATALOG NUMBER TYPE PROJECT W2 TRACK AND COMPONENTS Description W2 120V or 277V Track system provides two separate 20 AMP circuits and two neutrals. Each circuit can be independently switched. Fully polarized and grounded throughout. Top portion of track is designed as a raceway adaptable to W2 suspension system. Electrical 1. W2 provides 2 track systems, rated For 120V and 277V, respectively. 2. W2 track system has 2 separate circuits: 20 amps maximum for each circuit. 3. W2 track system utilizes solid copper alloy bus bars with a rectangular cross sectional area of 7 mm 2. 4. W2 track system has electric feed capability through all jointers/feeders (except Power Connector and Flexible Connector) using standard ½ inch knock outs. 5. DAIL Control wiring option is available for W2 track system. Mechanical 1. W2 track is constructed of 1.85mm extruded aluminum. 2. W2 track is 36mm (wide) by 33mm (tall). 3. W2 track is available in black powder coat, white powder coat, or platinum anodized finishes. Accessories 1. W2 track system has straight and 90 connectors in the standard X, L, T, and I shapes to join track sections together in horizontal plane. 2. W2 track system has Flexible Connector to create angles from 0 to 90 in both horizontal and vertical planes 3. W2 track system has end caps to finish off sections. Fixture Interface 1. Fixtures may be installed or removed anywhere along the track. 2. Minimum fixture spacing=1ft Max weight information: From 23lbs to 67 lbs. Depend on the different support way. The drawings show the maximum permissible mechanical load by W2 tracks for luminaires or other loads in relationship to the fixation or suspension point. It includes both the weight of the track system. 3. Track fixture has safety interlocks when installd/removed. 4. Polarization is guaranteed throughout the system. Agency Listing W2 Track system UL/cUL list pending.

Installation Instructions: W2 Series Track Safety Instructions: 1. Read all of these instructions before installing the track system. 2. Turn off power at main switch before installing or modifying the system. 3. Do not install within six inches of any curtain or combustible materials. 4. Do not install less than 5 feet above a floor. 5. Do not install in damp or wet locations. 6. Do not install concealed, or extended through building walls. 7. Do not attempt to energize anything other than a track light fixture. 8. Do not connect a track to more than one branch circuit. Although track light systems may seem to operate acceptably, a dangerous overload of the neutral may occur and result in a risk of fire. 9. Check with a qualified electrician before wiring. 10. All installation shall be in accordance with NEC and all local codes. 11. Save these installation instructions and refer to them when additions or changes to the track configuration are made. Mounting options Mounting option A: Surface mount Mounting slots can be knocked out and are spaced every 12 inches for convenience Mount track flush to the surface and tighten screws (not included) Mounting option B: Toggle bolt mount Mounting slots can be knocked out and are spaced every 12 inches for convenience Hang track from the surface using toggle bolts (not included) Fig 1: Mounting option A (surface mount) Mounting option C: T-Bar mount Mounting slots can be knocked out and are spaced every 12 inches for convenience Fasten track to T-Bar using T-Bar clips (not included) Fig 2: Mounting option B (toggle bolt mount) Fig 3: Mounting option C (T-Bar mount) 1 /4
Feed options Make sure power is off before wiring. Note the polarity indicator of the track and accessories. Live end connector (WED) 1. Slide live end connector into track and tighten screw (Fig 4a) 2. Remove the cover 3. Bring feed through either the knock-out on the bottom of the connector or on the side of the connector (Fig 4b) 4. If bringing feed through the knock-out on the bottom of the connector be sure that solid end cap is installed on the side of the connector. 5. Wire per Fig 4c 6. Replace the cover Fig 4a: Live end connector track engagement Fig 4b: Live end connector feed options Fig 4c: Live end connector wiring diagram 2 /4
Accessory options Make sure power is off before connecting. Note the polarity indicator of the track and accessories. The I Power connector (WPC) must be placed directly between two track sections as shown in Fig 5 before tightening the screw End caps (WEC) should be inserted into the track and tightened as shown in Fig 6 Fig 5: I Power connector Other accessories should be inserted into the track and tightened as shown in Fig 7 Fig 6: End cap installation Fig 7: Accessory connection Field cutting Cut the track, insulation material, and copper busbars with one straight cut and remove any burrs that may have resulted from the cut.
