2 CHAPTER This chapter summarizes the Cisco WAAS 4.0.7 software commands. lists the WAAS commands (alphabetically) and indicates the command mode for each command. The commands used to access modes are marked with an asterisk. Commands that do not indicate a particular mode are EXEC mode commands. The same command may have different effects when entered in a different command mode, so they are listed and documented separately. (See Chapter 1, Using the WAAS Command-Line Interface for a discussion about using CLI command modes.) In, in the Device Mode column indicates that the particular CLI command is supported in both central manager mode and mode. Throughout this book, the term WAAS device refers collectively to a WAAS Central Manager and a WAE. The term WAE refers collectively to the supported WAE platforms that are running the WAAS software. Command Summary (config) aaa accounting Configures AAA accounting. (config) adapter Enables the EndPoint Mapper (EPM) service. (config) alarm Configures the detection of alarm overload. overload-detect (config) asset Configures the tag name for the asset tag string. (config) authentication Configures administrative login authentication and authorization parameters. (config) auto-register Enables the discovery of a primary interface on a WAE and its automatic registration with the WAAS Central Manager through DHCP. (config-if) bandwidth Sets the specified interface bandwidth to 10, interface 100, or 1000 Mbps. (config) banner Configures message-of-the-day, login, login and EXEC banners. (config) bypass Configures the bypass functions on a WAE. cd Changes the directory. (config) cdp Enables the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) for the WAAS device. (config-if) cdp Enables CDP on an interface. interface (config) central-manager In mode, used to specify the IP address of the WAAS Central Manager with which the WAE needs to register. In central manager mode, used to specify the WAAS Central Manager s role and GUI port number. clear Resets the counters and other specified functions. clock Manages the system clock. (config) clock cms (config) cms Sets the summer daylight saving time of day and time zone. Configures the parameters for the Centralized Management System (CMS) embedded database. Schedules the maintenance and enables the Centralized Management System on a specific WAAS device. configure* Enters mode from privileged EXEC mode. copy cdrom Copies files from a CD-ROM. copy compactflash Copies files from the Compact Flash card. copy disk Copies information or files from a disk. copy ftp Copies files from an FTP server. copy http Copies files from an HTTP server. copy running-config Copies information from the current system. copy startup-config Copies information from the startup. copy sysreport Copies system troubleshooting information. 2-2
