Welcome to We re happy you re here. More goes into fundraising than meets the eye. At, a service of Blackbaud, we have created an online giving platform that can harness your supporters' passion and empower them to be wonderful. Through our integration with fitness tracking platforms, social media, and volunteer applications, we are able to create a robust giving footprint that enables your donors, supporters, and event participants to connect their effort with tangible results. We're happy to team up with your event(s) to give participants the opportunity to support a good cause, and to give your organization an opportunity to grow fundraising revenue and gain access to new supporters and donors. Support This comprehensive guide provides detailed instructions on using the platform. If you have additional questions, our dedicated support team is here to help: Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Online: http://help- us..com Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 2

getting started Creating a new campaign To build out your own campaign, start off by visiting the 'Campaigns' tab on the left hand side of your screen. Select Create. Give your campaign a public- friendly name. This will be visible to your participants. Select your date range, as applicable: Single- day: select if your event is happening on a specific date Multi- day: select if your event spans several days, weeks or months Indefinite: select if your event has no specified end date Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 3

Enabling a campaign goal allows you to publish your target publically on a microsite in the form of a goal progress bar which will also automatically show how much money has been raised on the microsite page, if you are using this feature. This information does not appear on a campaign or supporter page. Always select Next to progress to the next step in building your campaign. Your Campaign Dates allow you to determine the specific dates when your campaign is visible and active. You must activate your campaign for these dates to be honoured. Tailoring the features of supporter page goal, page story title and page story allow your organization to further brand the campaign to your initiative. Note: supporters will be able to edit their story but the copy entered as a default will display before they make any Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 4

changes, or in case they don t edit their own story text at all. You may also decide on whether or not to allow supporters to record offline donations at this time. If appropriate, you can allow your participants to create/join teams. Like the individual supporter page, you can also modify the team page story title and team page story. The team leader will be able to modify the team page story and upload a team page profile image. Choose whether you would like to have team functionality within your campaign. There are a few choices for this. You can either allow both individuals and teams, which we Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 5

recommend. If you are looking for only an individual page experience, you can choose to only allow individual pages. If there is a particular member of your organization who would like to be notified each time a new page was created for your campaign, enter their email here. Note: there can only be one email added. For the Layout stage it s best to have your design assets ready to go in the appropriate format and dimensions. The system accepts a hex value for colors, although you can use a color picker if you do not know the hex code (eg. #123456). The color picker feature accepts colours as RGB values. You ll need two primary images for the campaign a background image and a banner across the top of the page. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 6

For the page background image we recommend a minimum width of 1680px and a height of 2000px. Note: a background image will override a background color if large enough. The entire supporter banner image should be 940px wide and 290px high. You should remember to leave 270px at the far right to accommodate the profile image of the page. Once you re happy with the images in the preview, you can activate your campaign for publication. Alternatively, you can do this later and come back to activate at a later time. If you need to return to any of these areas, use the menu on the left hand of your screen: Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 7

Creating a microsite A microsite is an optional addition to any campaign. A microsite allows you to create an introductory page to your campaign, sharing additional information, photos, campaign goals, etc. also generates leaderboards and campaign progress bars which add a dynamic element to your fundraising initiative. You have two options when creating a microsite: use the basic template or go completely bespoke with your own HTML & CSS code. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 8

Selecting the Basic Theme walks you through a series of additional imagery options for this new page. You start with the actual theme, or look of the page. Using hex values or RGB values again, tailor the elements on the microsite. You will also upload additional imagery for the background of the page and a banner. These image dimensions are: banner image: 1696px wide and 684px high background image: maximum 2000px by 2000px (minimum 1600px wide) As before, be sure to upload the images in the correct dimensions and format. Please note that you must click on Skip instead of Save to keep the original size and resolution of your image. Clicking on Skip will ensure that your size and resolution are not stretched or blurred in any way. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 9

Next you can add Content to the page: an introduction, description of the event and/or your organisation, what you re trying to achieve, some photographs, logos, optional contact details etc. With every edit that you make, you can click Preview to preview your site before saving it. This will open a preview of your microsite page in a new browser tab so that you can view your latest changes. To save your microsite, make sure to click the Publish button. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 10

This page content will display on your microsite, similar to the below example: Note the buttons, search, and leaderboards in the right column these are all produced by using the Basic Theme for microsite creation. If you selected to publish a campaign goal, this also appears on the microsite as a goal progress bar spanning the banner. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 11

Final settings for a Basic Theme allow you to insert a few modifications to the microsite. If you are comfortable working with style sheets, there is an optional box available for you to add CSS and therefore customize the microsite page further. Please note that the CSS will apply to the microsite page only and not the supporter page. Also note that it is not advised to switch from Code Your Own back to a Basic Theme once you ve placed custom CSS in your Code Your Own. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 12

If at any point you wish to switch to Code Your Own, you can select this and build a truly unique microsite to support your campaign. Don t forget to publish and preview your changes. Congratulations! You are now the owner of a new campaign and microsite. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 13

Reporting With our handy on demand reporting feature, you can create an instant report to view data on all your supporter pages (Supporter Page Report), donations made to your charity (Donation Report), and donations that have been settled into your nominated account (Settlement Report)! Click the 'Reporting' tab on the left hand side of your charity dashboard. From here you'll have the option of 3 different reports - Supporter Pages, Donations, and Settlements. Supporter Page Report You have the ability to filter by campaign and time period. There are downloadable CSV and Excel files of this data. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 14

Donation Report With on demand donation reports you can filter by campaign and time period. The report you design will generate a CSV file that you can download and view. Settlement Report Settlement reports are generated when donations are deposited into your nominated account. They are available on a weekly basis as funds are raised. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 15

Remittance Advice Remittance Advice shows a PDF of all your donations deposited in that week, as well as the processing fees taken out, and the fees covered by donors using the donor cover feature. Transaction Details Transaction Details generate a CSV file of all the data associated with each donation transaction. This includes donor name, donation amount, donation date and a wealth of other useful metrics. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 16

FAQ Microsite Questions Pro Questions The microsite background color and content area keep changing to the same color. How do I change background color without affecting the content area? The Page Background field should be the color that you want for your content area. To change the color of only the background behind it, you need to upload a background image of the color that you want if you aren t using an image. We recommend a.png format for solid color backgrounds if possible for quicker load times. How do I change the color of the text in the goal progress bar at the top of my microsite? The color that you set for the Button Text field is linked with the text in that widget. As an example, if you set the Button Text to white (#ffffff), the text in that widget will be white. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 17

How do I change the color that fills my goal progress bar at the top of my microsite? The color that fills the goal progress bar is linked to the Button Background field on your template. As an example, if you set the color to purple (#BD4FD0), the bar will fill with a purple color. How can I change the font style in the Content section of my microsite? To change the font style, you can usually copy and paste the text that has been created in a word processor (ie Microsoft Word) into the content box. If you decide to do this, make sure you format ALL your written content in the word processor before transferring it over to your microsite content box. How do I change the color of the microsite CTA buttons when I roll over them? To change the rollover color of the CTA buttons, go to the Links field in the Colors section and either select your preferred color from the color palette or input the hex code. Please note that adjusting this field will also adjust the color of all hyperlinks that you insert into your content. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 18

The images that I place into my microsite content keep stretching. How do I get them to keep their original dimensions? This can be solved by placing your (un- scaled) image on to a larger canvas. We recommend a canvas that s 770px wide. Make sure you align the image as you would like it to appear on your microsite. For example, if you would like your image centered on your microsite, make sure that the image you are using is centered when placing it on the canvas. Why do my microsite leaderboards still tell me that there are no individuals or teams for my campaign when people have already created supporter pages? Our leaderboards display only active fundraisers. Once individual supporters and teams start receiving donations on their pages, they ll appear in your leaderboards. Do I need a banner or background image for my microsite to work? There are default colors that are preloaded into your basic microsite theme. The image fields are optional and can often enhance the appearance of your microsite but are not required. Can I display more than 5 results in my microsite leaderboards? Yes, but you would need to make these changes in the actual source code. Why is my microsite banner dark at the bottom? This is to allow visibility of your metrics and the goal progress bar. It can be removed by adjusting the source code if you are familiar with CSS. I would like to edit the source code of my microsite, but when I click on Code your own option, the Code section is empty. How can I edit the source code? The microsite you create in the template is stored separately from the one you would create in the Code your own section so that if anything goes wrong in the Code your own section, you will always have the templated microsite that you can use. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 19

To edit the source code of your templated microsite: Click on View live site. If you have not yet published your microsite, you can also click on the preview button to view the latest version. Once you are viewing your microsite, right click on the page and select View Page Source/Source Code. (the language may differ depending on the browser that you are using.) Press Ctrl + A (command + A for macs) to select all the code and Ctrl + C (command + C for macs) to copy it. You can then paste this code into the Code section and make your edits. Can I use my own web URL for the microsite? Yes! If you have a custom URL you d like to use, you can enter it in the microsite settings. Please note that there are additional steps you will need to take which can be found at the Learn More link in your microsite settings. How can I add additional admin users to my pro account? Log into your charity account and visit the Settings tab on the left hand side. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 20

Click on Users and you ll be able to see the User Management heading. Type in the email address of the user you would like to extend admin rights to. Once the 'Invite' button is clicked, they will receive an email inviting them to claim their admin rights. The new user must follow the steps in the email to gain access to their admin rights. You can add as many admin users per organization as you want! Does integrate with Raiser s Edge? data can be imported into Raiser's Edge via a dedicated plug in. To access your product key code for the plug in, you will need to register on. Once your Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 21

nonprofit is approved, you will go into your charity admin account and retrieve the code under the section called the Raiser's Edge integration. Additionally, there is an integration instruction manual available as well. How do offline donations work on? On generic supporter pages, it is not possible for supporters to add offline donations to their pages, however if you subscribe to Pro, you (the charity) have control over whether you allow supporters of your campaigns the ability to add offline donations if you wish to turn this on. When offline donations are added to a supporter page, you will see these reported separately to online donations on the Donations report and Transaction details reports. How do I add my organization s logo and mission? Currently, you can add your organization s logo and mission to your public-facing profile. Your event tiles will inherit the imagery uploaded for each of the separate event campaigns. Email: nonprofits@.com Phone: (213) 293-1133 Charity Login: https://nfp..com/admin/us/sign- in Website: www..com/us 22
