Release Notes Overview This document contains information about changes in Oracle Retail WebTrack since the previous release. Updated System Requirements Database Server This section lists the suggested hardware and software requirements for Oracle Retail Server products. The following are suggested hardware and software requirements: Database Server database software requirements Application Server including operating system software and development tools, and a list of hardware choices. Web Browser including the requirements that a Web browser must meet and a list of Web browsers and versions from which you can choose. Because you need to choose hardware that has sufficient random access memory (RAM) and program and data storage capacity for the products you choose, each section lists criteria you can use to size your hardware selections. The totals you discover after factoring in sizing issues are approximate. General requirements for a database server capable of running Retail Server include: Requirement Operating System Oracle RDBMS Version UNIX based OS (Solaris 9, HP-UX 11.11 or AIX 5.2) certified with Oracle9i release 2 Enterprise Edition Note: Oracle Retail Server is certified on Solaris 9 only when running Oracle Database 10g with Oracle Application Server 10.1.3. Oracle9i Enterprise Edition or Oracle Database 10g Application Server General requirements for an application server capable of running the RRS application include: Requirement Operating System Version UNIX based OS (Solaris 9, HP-UX 11.11 or AIX 5.2) certified with IBM WebSphere 5.1.1.2 Application Server WebSphere 5.1.1.2 or Oracle Application Server 10.1.3 Note: Oracle Application Server 10.1.3 requires Oracle Database 10g. FTP Server A secure FTP daemon is required for an FTP server capable of running Retail Server. Release Notes 1

Defect Summary 6014175 After clicking on the Design or Webtrack application, the user is presented with a dialog stating that the code signing certificate for the application is invalid. 6014175 An Internet Explorer security warning with Unknown Publisher popped up after pressing the Webtrack/Design button. Inside this warning, there was a Certificate has expired or is not yet valid screen. Users needed to click Run to continue the work. The pop-up showed up again when entering Design/Webtrack module the next time. Resolution: Certification has been updated. After accepting the certification notice once, the user is not prompted again. 6051908 When the user connected to Retail.com with an unsupported browser, a screen (browsers.jsp) appeared that recommended Firefox or Internet Explorer. Firefox is not a supported browser. Resolution: When connecting to Retail.com from an unsupported browser, the user receives a message that recommends only Internet Explorer. Release Notes 3
