Welcome to the 2019 ACGME Annual Educational Conference! This document explains how to get the most out of the ACGME s 2019 Conference Mobile App, and how to access all its features. App Set-Up Note: For laptop access, please use the web version of the app. Download the App From your device, access the App Store on ios devices or the Play Store on Android. Search for Attendee-Hub by Crowd Compass and download it. The following icon will appear on your device: Find the 2019 ACGME Annual Educational Conference within the App Search for 2019acgme in the Attendee-Hub app. When prompted for a password, enter 2019acgme. Login Log in to access schedules, bookmarks, reminders, notes, and contacts on your device, as well as to view or adjust your schedule. Other features: Access general Conference information Download presentations View speaker and keynote information Access CME information Check out the Exhibit Hall See maps of the Conference venue and the Exhibit Hall Tap into well-being activities at the Conference Take notes Share posts over social media Get Login Information 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left corner to open the side navigation to log in. 2. You will be prompted to enter your first and last name (consistent with your conference registration). Tap Next and enter the e-mail address used for your conference registration, and then tap Next again. 3. A verification e-mail will be sent to your inbox. Open it and tap Verify Account. Page 2 of 6

4. You'll see that your confirmation code has been carried over. Tap Finish. You'll then be taken back to the Event Guide with all the features unlocked. Missing Login E-mail If you haven t received your login information, please check the spam or junk folder of your e- mail. The sender may be listed as Crowd Compass. Retrieve Lost Login Information To have a verification e-mail resent: 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left corner to open the side navigation and then log in. 2. You'll be prompted to enter your first and last name (consistent with your conference registration). Tap Next. 3. Click on Forgot Code. If you ve logged in before, the app will know your email address and will send a verification e-mail to you again. 4. A verification e-mail will be sent to your inbox. Open it and tap Verify Account. You'll see that your confirmation code has been carried over. Tap Finish and you'll be taken back to the Event Guide with all the features unlocked. Conference Schedule You can modify your schedule beginning Wednesday, March 6, 2019. To Remove a Session from your Schedule 1. After logging in, tap the Schedule icon. 2. Choose the Schedule tab. A list of sessions will appear. 3. At the right of a session name, choose the ( ) sign. The session will be removed from your Personal Schedule. To Add a Session to your Schedule 1. After logging in, tap the Schedule icon. 2. Choose the My Schedule tab. A list of sessions will appear. 3. At the right of a session name you d like to add to your schedule, choose the (+) sign. The session will be added to your Personal Schedule (which you ll be able to view when you tap My Schedule ). You can only add a session if the session time is free within your schedule. Page 3 of 6

Export your Schedule to your Device s Calendar 1. After logging in, tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap My Schedule. 2. You will see a personalized calendar of the sessions you are scheduled to attend. Tap any session title to see more details. 3. To export it, tap the download icon at the top right of the screen. A confirmation screen will appear. Tap Export and your schedule will be added directly to your device s calendar. Allow Notifications on your Device On ios: 1. From the home screen on your device, tap Settings and then Notifications. 2. Tap on AttendeeHub from the list of apps on your device, and then turn on Allow Notifications. On Android: Note: Not all Android phones are the same. The directions below are for the most common OS, Android 5.0. 1. Swipe down on the home screen, then click the gear in the top right. Tap Sounds and Notifications. 2. Scroll down and tap App Notifications. Find the Conference Mobile App on the list, and switch notifications from off to on. Connect Using the App Manage Privacy Set your Profile to Private 1. Access your profile settings. If you d rather have control over who can see your profile, you can set it to private. 2. After logging in, tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap your name at the top of the screen. 3. Under Privacy Settings, move the slider to Private. Or Hide your Profile Entirely 1. Log in and tap the Attendees icon. 2. Change your Attendee Options. Click the Silhouette icon in the top right to open Attendee Options. 3. Select Hide on Attendee List from the options at the bottom of the screen. Page 4 of 6

Message Other Attendees 1. After logging in, tap the Attendees icon. 2. Find the person you want to message by either scrolling through the list or using the search bar at the top of the screen. Tap that person s name, and then the chat icon to start texting. 3. To pick up a previous chat, tap the three horizontal bars in the top right, and then tap My Messages. Block Chat for an Individual 1. Log in and tap the Attendees icon. 2. Find the person you d like to block by scrolling through the list or using the search bar at the top of the screen. Tap that person s name, and then the chat icon. Tap Block in the top right. Share my Contact Info with Attendees 1. After logging in, tap the Attendees icon. 2. Find the person with whom you want to share your contact information by either scrolling through the list or using the search bar at the top of the screen. 3. Tap the individual s name, then the plus sign (+) to send a contact request. If they accept, the two of you will exchange information. Schedule an Appointment with Other Attendees 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap My Schedule. 2. In the top right corner, tap the plus sign (+) to access the Add Activity page. 3. Give your appointment a name, start and end times, and some invitees. When you're finished, tap Done. Invitations will be immediately sent to all attendees you indicated. Write and Send Notes Write your Thoughts... 1. Find the session, speaker, or attendee you'd like to create a note about by tapping on the related icon (Schedule, Speaker, or Attendees, respectively) on the home screen, then scrolling through the item list. Once you've found the item, tap on it. 2. Tap the Note icon to bring up a blank page and your keyboard. Enter your thoughts, observations, and ideas. Tap Save when you're finished. Then Export Them 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap My Notes. Here you ll find all the notes you ve taken, organized by session. 2. Tap the share icon in the top right and Crowd Compass will automatically generate a draft of an e-mail that contains all your notes. Enter an e-mail address, and then tap Send. Page 5 of 6

Activity Feed The Activity Feed is the Social Hub of the Conference Mobile App where you can post messages and share photos. Access the Activity Feed 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap Activity Feed. You can also access this from the Activity Feed icon on the main screen. 2. Select Event Feed in the upper left. To post a message (text) or a photo, tap Post in the top right of the screen. 3. If you are adding a photo, your camera will come up and you can take a picture or select a photo from your device s gallery. 4 After typing your message, click Share. 5. Your post will now be viewable in the conference event feed by all conference attendees. You can now share your post to your social media followers: a. Tap the ellipsis. b. Tap Share to social c. Tap the Twitter icon. You may need to scroll to see your Twitter icon. d. You can add text or just tap tweet. Use the Social Wall You can tweet about sessions, speakers, and exhibitors right from the app. 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap Activity Feed. You can also access this from the Activity Feed icon on the main screen. 2. Tap Social Wall at the top of the screen. 3. Tap the Twitter icon on any of the posts. You will need to sign in to Twitter before you can tweet, retweet, or use other Twitter functions. Manage Notifications Stay up to date with latest Conference news and announcements, including schedule changes, reminders, and contest winners. 1. Tap the three horizontal bars in the top left, and then tap Activity Feed. You can also access this from the Activity Feed icon on the main screen. 2. Tap Notifications at the top of the screen. Tip: If you ve enabled push notifications for the Conference, you can access them from anywhere on your phone, by swiping down from the top of your device s screen to pull up your device s notifications menu.
