FEATURES FEATURES Giving PDA users the most convenience and safety while on the road, this innovative and userfriendly product features three major functions: holder function, speaker function, and charger function. This mount provides a secure method for traveling in your vehicle with your device. The mount has adjustable padded arms to stabilize all PDAs and PDA phones. The mount can power and charge your device through any cigarette lighter socket (12-24VDC) by using a PDA Charging Cable to connect your device to the mount. Enables users to listen to MP3 music, digital books, and GPS voice direction through the built-in, adjustable, high performance speaker. Step 1: Check to make sure you have all the parts of the Mount Kit. Step 2: Connect the cradle to the multi-angle pedestal by inserting the plate of the pedestal into the slot on the back of the mount. You must insert it until you hear a click. Step 3: Find a flat surface (3.75 x 2.25 ) where you want to mount the cradle and clean the surface. Step 4: Peel off the film on the 3M tape, stick it on the surface firmly. Apply as much force as you can to make sure it stays perfectly. Step 5: Make sure the Mount Kit stays firmly on the surface. Make sure the mount will not interfere with the vehicle s operating equipment and do not block your driving view. HOLD YOUR PDA ON THE MULTI-FUNCTION MOUNT KIT How to hold your PDA on the Multi-Function Mount Kit? Step 1: Release the holding arms by pushing the Arm Release Button on the right side of the cradle. Step 2: After the holding arms opened, put the PDA in the center of the cradle. Step 3: Push the holding arms towards the PDA until they can hold the PDA firmly. If you are using an ipaq with expansion pack, we recommend you to use the Long Arm version of the Multi- Function Mount Kit. If the cradle feet block any port on your PDA, unscrew the cradle feet so the port can be used. 5 USE THE MOUNT KIT TO CHARGE YOUR PDA How to use the Multi-function Mount Kit to charge your PDA? Step 1: Place your PDA in the cradle. (Please refer to Page 5 of this user guide) Step 2: Plug the Cigarette Lighter Connector from the Mount Kit to the Cigarette Lighter Port in your car to get power from the car to operate the Mount Kit. A red LED at the bottom of the cradle will turn on when the Multi-Function Mount Kit receives power. Step 3: Connect the PDA Charging Cable to the PDA Charging USB port, which located on the right side of bottom of the Cradle. Step 4: Connect the other end of the PDA Charging Cable to the PDA s charging port. The PDA should show charging at this time. Different PDA may require a different PDA Charging Cable. Additional cable available at Seidio.com. The output power from the PDA charging port is 5V and 1.2Amp. 6
LISTEN MUSIC FROM THE MULTI-FUNCTION MOUNT KIT How to Listen Music from the Multi-Function mount Kit? Step 1: Place your PDA in the cradle. (Please refer to Page 5 of this user guide) Step 2: Plug the Cigarette Lighter Connector from the Mount Kit to the Cigarette Lighter Port in your car to get power from the car to operate the Mount Kit. Step 3: Connect the headphone cable to the Headphone Jack on the PDA and also the Mount Kit, which is located on the top right corner of the mount kit. Step 4: Play your music or any other voice program on your PDA. The sound playing on your PDA will now play from the built in speaker on the Multi-Function Mount Kit. Step 5: Adjust the volume level by using the volume control on the left side of the cradle to your desired volume level. Make sure the volume level will not disturb you when you are driving. OPTIONS How to charge an extra PDA, digital camera or cellular phone at the same time? This Multi-Function Mount Kit comes with extra charging capability. This mount kit allows you to charge an extra PDA, Digital Camera or Cellular Phone when you are charging and holding your PDA on the cradle. Optional accessories are required.
