Setting up the camera To set up the WiFi Video Camera, download the free application Maginon IPC Viewer from the App Store or from Google Play and install it on your smartphone / tablet. Open the App (Fig.1). Next, select the model of your WiFi Video Camera (Maginon IPC-30 FHD) and click the (Fig.2). Fig.1 1. Preparation: Connect your smartphone / tablet to your WiFi Video Camera network via WLAN (CamSetup). 2. Wireless: Enter the details of your home network. 3. Cloud: Connect your smartphone / tablet to your home network again. 4. Completed: Wait until the WiFi Video Camera set-up has been completed. After completing the 4 steps you gain direct access to your Maginon WiFi Video Camera. You can access the WiFi Video Camera via your smartphone / tablet or any computer by entering the site www. supra-space.com. Fig.3 Fig.2 When setting up the first WiFi Video Camera, select Register and set up a new user account. Once registered, the installation assistant appears (Fig. 3). Follow the instructions for the next 4 steps shown on your smartphone / tablet: Fig.4
Log in to the user account you set up during installation. All installed WiFi Video Cameras are displayed (Fig. 4) and you can open up to 4 WiFi Video Cameras simultaneously in the split screen view (Fig.5) or select WiFi Video Cameras individually (Fig.6). Fig.6 Fig.5 Safety information Connect the WiFi Video Camera to an easily accessible socket allowing quick disconnection from the power supply in case of a fault. Do not operate the WiFi Video Camera if there is visible damage or if the USB cable or USB adapter is defective. Damaged cables of the WiFi Video Camera must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or a similar qualified person. Do not open housing and have all repairs carried out by an expert. Contact a specialist workshop. All liability and warranty claims shall be void in case of repairs carried out by users, incorrect connection or improper use. The WiFi Video Camera may not be operated with an external timer or separate remote control system. Never immerse the WiFi Video Camera, USB cable or the USB adapter in water or other fluids. Never touch the USB adapter with wet hands. - - Never remove the USB adapter from the socket by pulling on the USB cable.
Never use the USB cable as a carrying handle. Keep the WiFi Video Camera, USB adapter and USB cable away from open flames and hot surfaces. Install the USB cable in such a way that it does not become a trip hazard. Do not kink the USB cable and do not install it over sharp edges. Never store the WiFi Video Camera in such a way that it can fall into a trough or wash basin. Never touch an electric device that has fallen into water. Always pull out the USB adapter immediately in such a situation. Ensure that children do not push objects into the WiFi Video Camera. When not using or cleaning the WiFi Video Camera or in case of a fault, always switch off the WiFi Video Camera and pull the USB connector out of socket. Hazard for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities (such as partially disabled, older persons with limited physical and mental abilities) or lack of experience and know-how (such as older children). This WiFi Video Camera may be used by children 8 years or older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience or know-how provided they are supervised or have been instructed on how to safely use the WiFi Video Camera and understand hazards resulting therefrom. Children may not play with the WiFi Video Camera. The device may not be cleaned or maintained by children without supervision. Keep children under the age of eight away from the WiFi Video Camera and the USB adapter. Keep packaging foil away from children. They could get caught in it during play and could suffocate. - - When installing and assembling the WiFi Video Camera ensure that a 3.91 inch (10 cm) gap is maintained on all sides in order to provide adequate ventilation. Ensure, in particular, that ventilation slots are not covered by newspaper, table clothes or curtains.
Place the WiFi Video Camera on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-resistant and sufficiently sturdy work surface. Do not place surveillance camera at the edge of a work surface. Avoid overheating by never positioning the WiFi Video Camera directly against a wall or underneath mounted cupboards. Never place the WiFi Video Camera on or near hot surfaces (e.g. stove tops, etc.). Ensure that the USB cable does not come into contact with hot parts. Never expose the WiFi Video Camera to excessive temperatures. When cleaning, never immerse the WiFi Video Camera in water and do not use a steam cleaner. The WiFi Video Camera could be damaged. Never place the WiFi Video Camera in a dishwasher. Do not use WiFi Video Camera if plastic or metal parts of the WiFi Video Camera show cracks or tears or are deformed. Replace damaged parts only with original spare parts. Damage to the electronics, lens or accessory caused by external influences such as impacts, falls or others are not covered by the warranty and are chargeable. The USB adapter is only suitable for internal use! External use of the USB adapter is not permitted.
