J> DEKRA Annex 1 to Certificate IECEx KEM 05.0004, issue 8 Description The modulepower Supply, type 6ES7 138-7EA01-0AAO serves for supply of the modules in the Distributed 1/0 System. For redundancy, up to two Power Supply modules may be used. ln combination with the Base-System of the intrinsically safe Distributed 1/0 System type ET 200iSP, certified per KEM 05.0003, the Power Bus circuit is in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ib IIC. From a safety point of view, the current in the Power Bus circuit is limited by the connected modules. The combination of the above mentioned Base-System and the module is suitable for installation in zone 1 explosive atmospheres. The connection of the module to the aforementioned Distributed 1/0 System is made by means of a terminal module (TM-PS-., certified per KEM 05.0003). The module Power Supply is fitted in an enclosure in type of protection flameproof enclosure "d". The Power Supply circuit is in type of protection increased safety "e" and the remaining circuits are in type of protection intrinsic safety "i". A Module Power Supply as part of the Distributed 1/0 System may be inserted or removed during operation, in accordance with the installation instructions. The Base-System provides a degree of protection of IP30 in accordance with IEC 60529. Ambient temperature range : -20 oc to + 70 oc (horizontal mounting position), -20 oc to +50 oc (all other mounting positions). Electrical data Supply circuit, terminals L +, M and PA (connected through TM-PS-.), in type of protection increased safety Ex e, only for use in the Distributed 1/0 System. U = 19.2... 30 Vdc; I = 5 A max.; P = 78.6 W max.; Um= 250 Vdc I Vac. Power Bus circuit, (connected through TM-PS-.), in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ib IIC, only for use in the Distributed 1/0 System. ' From the safety point of view the module draws a current of 20 ma. IM Supply circuit, (connected through TM-PS-.), in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ib IIC, only for use in the Distributed 1/0 System. Data circuit, (connected through TM-PS-.), in type of protection intrinsic safety Ex ib IIC, only for use in the Distributed 1/0 System. The Supply circuit of the above mentioned Module Power Supply is infallibly galvanically isolated from all internal circuits of the modules that are supplied by this Module Power Supply. Installation instructions 1. The installation and instruction manual of the Distributed 1/0 System shall be observed for the insertion and removal of the module Power Supply during the installation and the operation. The module may only be installed on the associated mechanically compatible module TM-PS-. Ii 2. Only for application in explosive atmospheres in mines: For exclusion of incendive sparks during transport and storage (for example in servicing), the module power supply shall be packaged shockproof and be removed from, respectively installed in the potentially explosive atmosphere without delay.
