Requirements CPU: x86-64 processor (like Intel Core 2 Duo or later) Video Card: Minimum 1024 MB RAM, supporting OpenGL 4.0 and above Hard Drive: 500 MB free disk space RAM: Recommended at least 4 GB RAM Operating System: Windows (64 bit, 7 and above) macos (10.11 and above), Linux (compatible CentOS/RHEL 6 and above, other Linux distribution e.g. Ubuntu, Arch Linux, Gentoo should work although Flowbox has not been tested on it) Single / client installation Windows 1. Download the Flowbox package for Windows (.exe or.zip format) the name of the package will be in the form: Flowbox-windows-X.Y.Z.ABCD-YYYY.MM.DD.exe zip Where: X.Y.Z is the Flowbox version ABCD is the build number YYYY.MM.DD is the date when package was created 2. Download the license file in.lic format, the license file will be present on the FTP together with the packages to which you will get access by email, either after purchase or after signing up for a trial. 3. v. After completing the installation you can run Flowbox right away by checking the Launch Flowbox option and then clicking on Finish button. b. If you downloaded the.zip package: i. Extract it (use built-in Windows archive tool, 7-zip or similar) to the directory of your choice e.g. C:\Flowbox ii. Open the directory C:\Flowbox\Flowbox-X.Y.Z.ABCD-YYYY.MM.DD and double click the Flowbox.bat file to run Flowbox. No other installation steps are needed. 4. 5. When Flowbox runs for the first time the license window will appear point to the license file (.lic file, you have downloaded in step 2) or fill out the Flowbox Floating License Server 1 information if you have the Flowbox Floating License Server installed on your network. 6. If you have pointed to a valid license or the Flowbox client reached the Floating Server with the address you have provided you will get the information that the license file is valid. Start Flowbox with Flowbox.sh script or install (create desktop entries and optional desktop icons) with Install.sh script 5. When Flowbox runs for the first time the license window will appear point to the license file (.lic file, you have downloaded in the step 2) or fill out the Flowbox Floating License Server 1 information if you have the Flowbox Floating License Server installed in your network. 4. Drag and drop the Flowbox icon the the Application folder. The installation is finished. 5. Floating License Server Installation Please install the Floating Server first and provide the IP address (of the floating server) while running Flowbox for the first time. If you provide the license to Flowbox itself it will run in node-locked mode and a license reset from our side will be necessary. Windows The following instruction will guide you how to install the Flowbox Floating License Server as the Windows service (the most preferable option on Windows). If you want to use the Flowbox Floating Licence Server in another way (without using the Windows services) there is also the.bat file located at Flowbox directory at: LicenseServer\FlowboxLicenseServer.bat TIP: 1. Download either the.exe or.zip package and install it. Download also the license file (refer to the Single Installation Windows section for more information). 2. Place the license file in the LicenseServer directory located in your Flowbox installation directory. 3. Press Windows Start (or Windows key ), type cmd and click with right mouse button on it, choose Run as administrator. 4. Navigate to the Flowbox package location with the cd command, e.g.: cd C:\Flowbox\Flowbox-X.Y.Z.ABCD-YYYY.MM.DD and run the command: FlowboxLSInstall.bat install 5. Finished. After this, Windows Service should be created and running. A. If the server is not connected to the Internet, offline activate the licence using the instructions and tool from https://activate.flowbox.io/ and then run the License Server with the --offlineactivationkey option. Go to your Flowbox installation directory if you didn't customize it it will be: cd /Applications/Flowbox.app/Contents/Resources/LicenseServer 2. Execute the command:./install_ls.sh -f <flowbox_dir_path> -l <licence_dir_path> [-g <log_dir>] Where: <flowbox_dir_path> by default is /Applications/Flowbox.app if your Flowbox installation is in other directory please specify that directory <licence_dir_path> is the directory that contains flowbox licence file (.lic ) [optional] <log_dir> is the directory for logs, it defaults to /var/log; logs are always separated into two files: flowbox_server_err.log and flowbox_server_out.log TIP: A.
