The new series offers mobile plugs, flush mounting plugs and mobile sockets for 6A and 32A currents with degree of protection IP44 and IP66/IP67. The striking characteristic of the new series is the extremely quick wiring that distinguishes it from all other mobile sockets and plugs available on the market. Another important feature is the worldwide patented SAF-IN safety device. This device prevents the introduction of small linear objects inside the contact tubes of the socket, thus guaranteeing these industrial sockets the same level of protection against direct contacts as for household sockets. Snap-on device with stainless steel spring to guarantee frequent opening/closing (possibility to inspect the terminals). xternal cable stay with tulip clamping having IP66/IP67 cable gland functions (the device is used on both IP44 and IP66/IP67 products). TH SAF-IN SAFTY DVIC The SAF-IN safety device assembled on the 6A industrial sockets is the most innovative element of the new. The SAF-IN device works like the protection installed on household sockets, i.e., by means of an appropriate shutter, it closes the input of the socket contact tubes and prevents accidental and voluntary contact of live parts of the socket with slim objects, such as screwdrivers or wires. This protection offers an additional safety guarantee, in addition to that already provided by the spring-loaded cover assembled on the mobile sockets. Dangerous situations, such as the important examples illustrated in the figure to the side, can be resolved thanks to the new sockets equipped with the SAF-IN safety device.
