MicroSD connector Charging connector DC 5V / 0.5A Charging The battery must be fully charged before first use (~4 4.5 hours). Plug the charging cable into Micro USB slot of the microphone, USB slot of PC or other USB slot of chargers to get charged. We recommend, charging the battery at least every 2 3 months, even if the BT-X36 is not used. When the microphone is being charged, indicator light turns red. Once it is fully charged, indicator light turns off. (We would suggest users turning off the microphone while charging. It takes longer time to get completely charged if the microphone works when being charged.) It turns off automatically at low battery power.

Bluetooth Mode Turn on the microphone. Press and hold the power button for about 2 seconds. When the indicator next to the ON/OFF button lights up BLUE, the microphone is in operating mode. Connect the microphone with your Bluetooth device. (e.g.: smart phone, tablet, PC). Go to settings and scan for the new devices in your Smartphone. The name of the microphone "MusicMan BT-X36" appears, you have to select and connect it. After successful Bluetooth pairing, you hear a signal from the microphone. After hearing the conformation sound the real connection between both devices takes some seconds more! Start your music playing from your music file. User could start singing follow the music. Press the key to play/pause; press the key to go back to last track; press the key to move on to next track. The microphone supports TWS function. It is possible to connect two microphones to one Bluetooth device (e.g. Smartphone). It does not matter which combination of BT-X35 and/or BT-X36 you are using. Power on two microphones. Double click the power button (twice shortly) on the first device. Do the same for the second device. On each device you will hear a confirmation sound (ding ding dong) after the double click. Wait about 10-20 seconds until the connection via TWS was successful. You hear a confirmation sound (peep) again. Connect one of the microphones to a Bluetooth device (e.g. Smartphone). It is only needed that one of the microphones is connected with Bluetooth to the Smartphone.

Note: If you turn off one of the microphones that are connected via TWS, both devices will turn off. Microphone which was connected with the Bluetooth device, automatically connects itself to the last connected Bluetooth device (Smartphone, etc.) when you power it on the next time. Now you can use the Smartphone to search for karaoke songs. You can find them for free in the internet or on YouTube or download karaoke APPs from third parties like the Google Play Store or Apple APP store. Now you can read the lyrics easily from your smart phone display and start singing the song. We wish you a lot of fun. Note: To get the best sound quality, it s important to hold the microphone close (max. distance 2cm) in front of your mouth and nearly in vertical position. When the AUX cable is used, the Bluetooth connection of the same mobile device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, PC, etc.) is automatically disconnected. MicroSD Card Mode You have the possibility to connect to a removable storage memory MicroSD Card and playback songs from it. Format the MicroSD Card (max. 32GB) to FAT32. Turn on the BT-X36, plug in MicroSD Card with music (MP3,WAV) into the slot of the microphone, it begins streaming music, automatically, if not press the mode button. User could start singing follow the music. Press the key to play/pause; press the key to go back to last track; press the key to move on to next track.

Note: You need to access the song lyrics elsewhere (e.g. print them out from the Internet) AUX Mode Plug one end of 3.5mm cable into AUX slot of the BT-X36 and the other end into audio slot of Smartphone, Notebook, Tablet PC, MP3/MP4 Player etc. Press the mode button to change to Aux-In mode. After that, it will be able to be in music mode. User could start singing following the music playing. Short press the key on the microphone to mute the microphone. The song will play along on the connected device, anyway. You need to control the music from the connected device and not on the microphone buttons. Note: Third party Karaoke APPs are either for free, or you are charged. Search in the Google Play Store or Apple APP Store for them (searching words: sing, karaoke, etc.). Select a song and you can start singing directly. The BT-X35 speaker CANNOT do any recordings by itself. Depending on the loaded APP, recordings on your mobile device could be an option. When using the AUX cable, the Bluetooth connection of the same mobile device (e.g. Smartphone, Tablet, PC, etc.) is automatically disconnected. Compatible with most mobile phones and tablets iphone 4s / 5 / 5s / 6 / 6 Plus / 6s / 6s Plus / 5se ipad mini 2 / mini 4, new ipad, ipad air 1/ 2, ipad Pro Samsung Galaxy S4 / S5 / S6 / S6 edge / S7 / S7 edge Samsung Galaxy Note3 / Note4 / Note5 / Note edge HTC, BlackBerry, Sony, LG, etc.

Troubleshooting The Karaoke microphone powers Off or does not turn On again could be either a low battery or a problem with the power supply charge the microphone and check the connection of the Micro-USB cable. The microphone does not play the voice could be that the volume of the microphone is too low turn on or adjust the volume of the microphone (Button 12) or change the position of microphone head to mouth. No Echo effect could be that the Echo effect is too low turn on or adjust the volume of the Echo effect (Button 10). Noises are heard from the microphone could be a poor Bluetooth signal to avoid noise, stay within the Bluetooth range of ~10m. No Bluetooth connection could be (a) the Bluetooth connection is not in range, or (b) another mobile device (e.g. Smartphone, Tablet) is paired with the microphone (a) shorten the range to the Smartphone, or (b) unpair the other device. Cannot connect the second microphone via TWS function be sure that not both microphones are connected via Bluetooth to the same Smartphone, connect only one! Warnings If the microphone does not turn on after switching it on, or it turns off after turning it on, check whether the battery is fully charged. If it is OFF power, get it fully charged and try again later. (We suggest charging the microphone all 2-3 month if it is not used for a long time.) Only charge the microphone through the DC 5V Micro USB port by using the provided original Micro USB charging cable. You also can use an USB charging adapter but ONLY (!) up to DC 5V/500mA. Do not (!) charge the microphone with more power!

When the microphone works under AUX IN mode, do not (!) increase the volume of your mobile phone, PC, MP3/MP4 Player, CD, DVD etc. to a large extend. A sound distortion may occur. In that case, decrease volume either of mobile phone, PC, MP3/MP4 Player, CD, DVD or the microphone. The sound gets normal soon. If the microphone fails to link to your mobile device or if it fails to play music after being connected, the user shall check if your mobile device supports A2DP. Do not attempt to disassemble the microphone, it may result in short-circuit or even damage. Do not drop or shake the microphone, it may break internal circuit boards or mechanics. Keep the microphone in dry and ventilated environment. Avoid high humidity and high temperature. Also batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat or direct sunlight. This microphone is not water resistant; therefore keep it away from moisture. Keep the microphone away from little children. Hints for Environment Protection: Packages materials are raw materials and can be recycled. Do not disposal old devices or batteries into the domestic waste. Cleaning: Protect the device from contamination and pollution (use a clean drapery). Avoid using rough, coarse-grained materials or solvents/aggressive cleaner. Wipe the cleaned device accurately.
