Accessing Diagnostic Service Documentation for Non-Beckman Coulter Users A Windows 10 device is required now to use AirWatch Content Locker (ACL). The new ACL will not allow executable files to run, so a SharePoint site has been created to provide Diagnostics Service documentation to both Windows 7 and Windows 10 users.. Installing the Windows 10 AirWatch Content Locker app The AirWatch Content Locker Windows 10 App will be required for accessing MOD and Technical Bulletin documents. 1. 8. When the download is complete, Windows will give you an option to launch the app now. This disappears in a few seconds, so you can find the app in the start menu by searching for Content : 9. Opening Files in Windows 10 AirWatch Content Locker to Extract or Print This sequence shows starting with a file not yet downloaded. Click the Select Multiple icon, then click one or more files with the check boxes. Use the download arrow at the bottom for downloading multiple files. WinZip or File Explorer should already be the default. Select OK. Extract or perform File > Save As or Extract as normal. Perform the same procedure for PDF, choosing either Adobe Acrobat or Reader depending on what applications are installed. Office files should default to the appropriate application. This will allow opening embedded files in Technical Bulletins and MOD documents. Double-click to open. There may be some delays in response. It is also possible to right click and select Open.
Using Dx Service Manual SharePoint Site A Danaher SharePoint site has been created to provide access to all Diagnostic HTML service documentation that cannot be accessed through the AirWatch Content Locker Windows 10 app. Here is the link: https://danaher.sharepoint.com/sites/bec_external/service/fsecontentdiag/sh ared%20documents/forms/allitems.aspx To access the site, a Microsoft account will be required. A Microsoft account can be created at Microsoft.com. Once registered, you should be able request access from the SharePoint sight itself, or notify ServiceManualProject@beckman.com of your Microsoft account. Your access will be assigned to the appropriate documentation and you will be notified when completed. If you are not directly taken to the Documents section from the link above, click on the menu item in the left-hand navigation pane. Then double-click on the Manuals folder. You will be presented with a list of folders based on your assigned documentation groups. Click on the folders to navigate to the desired files. To download a file, click on the 3-dot menu options icon, then click the 3-dot More actions icon in the resulting dialog box. Click Download. The file will be saved in the default downloads folder for the browser you are using.
If you have downloaded a service manual installer (.exe file), right-click it and select Run as Administrator. This will extract the manual to your hard drive and open it in Google Chrome. Download the corresponding Start batch file and copy it to a convenient location, such as your Desktop for quick access to open the manual. Google Chrome remains the required browser for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics HTML service manuals. A PDF file can be opened directly on-line by clicking.
